There's your problem. First step to solving a problem is admitting you have one. Wrong game, kid.

This isn't WoW, turn it onto Nightmare, then get the Hardcore mod, and if you can't play in real time with 9 keys, then how do you expect to do it with more?

Second: I finished DAO at nightmare on my first playthrough.
Third: I didn't say I couldn't, I said that I'd want my whole arsenal at hand without having to click at all. Clicking is horribly inefficient especially when multi boxing 4 characters at once in real time.
Please refrain from turning this thread into useless WoW bashing.

Anyways, you are multi-Boxing Dragon Age? Playing 4 games at one? Why?
If they decide to put more keybindings in, I hope it is low on their priority list. There are plenty of other stuff that needs to be done before adding more keybinding.

Its not meant to be played completely in real-time. If you're having difficulty playing, its not because of lack of keybindings...its because you're not playing it right. Learn how to use the pausing system, issuing commands and using the Tactics system.

The OP is entirely correct. There is no reason not to allow the rebinding of every single key in the game. I would argue that the game should even let us bind multiple commands to the same key so we can trigger more than one thing at a time.
I'd never use such a feature (I'd rather there be a pause button in the UI so I could play entirely with a mouse), but there's no reason to force us to use a particular key for a particular feature. Games do this only to reduce the customer service burden (when people call for help, it's easier to help them if you know what their control scheme is. Since most of us never call customer support, I don't think we should pay the price to make CS easier.
The OP is entirely correct. Unlimited keybinding would be superior.

Get over yourselves. The OP doesn't like that you can't bind everything to keys. It's his right, and I tend to agree with him. I'd like to be able to bind the camera movement to my middle mouse button instead of just the right button, but I can't.
So you hate WoW. Get over it. Also, SwishiestB0g, I particularly liked how you ignored the fact that pokemaughan had nothing meaningful to add other than a direct insult to the OP.
I really wish some of your parents would have taken heed of the age rating on the game, and refused to buy it for you.

Don't get me wrong though I love tactical pausing. I enjoyed it a LOT it was indeed a nice change of pace, but now that I completed the game once I wanted to try a more fast pace approach with minimal pausing and disabled tactics to micro in real time eveything that's happening on the screen. Believe me that's not possible with 10 louzy binds. Maybe not pausing is easy with full tactics setup and a melee PC but I like magic =P

First of all, I'd like to begin with how mature this was...
And second of all, you say that it would be more difficult for you if you could play in real time while fluidly switching characters with endless keybinds. Wouldn't it be even more difficult to have to play in real time while fluidly switching characters with limited keybinds? Maybe you should quit whining like a small child. By the way, this is coming from an 18 year old without a kid, and I don't even know what a SNES is.

If you think you have it bad, imagine the people playing it on a console.
As for the WoW thing, I don't care if someone plays WoW, that doesn't matter, but comparing the 2 is like apples and oranges, which makes no sense. DA:O wasn't meant to be played like WoW or even an FPS (can't believe I saw that comparison on a forum last week).
I wouldn't get your hopes up of EA/Bioware making changes to it.

If you're that desperate, get a Logitech keyboard with 15 or more programmable keys. It's about the best solution going atm and likely the best you'll ever see.

Wait you could do key bindings on ps 1,2,3, sega ganisis, that sega console that came after, xbox, 360, N64, gamecube, and the WII? Man and to think I have been playing games wrong...

In my first 100 hours of DAO plays I've never used any hotkey except Space and "/".
But after lvl 20 or so, my speedbar filled up(low screen resolution, can't expand it further). Then I started to wondering what if DAO has the some keybinding features like Wow had.
I mean, seriously, is it a SIN to compare DAO to Wow?

if it really bothers you, AutoHotkey can be programmed to simulate mouse clicks at coordinates with the press of a key to basically make hotkeys. Sure you have to set it up but it works pretty well
Even with AutoHotkey to help you, using a mouse simulation move to accomplish a spellcast is SLOW and error prone. In fact, any serious AutoHotkey user would tell you that define a keybinding ingame and using AutoHotkey to combine and remap them is the surefire way to go.

Can't anyone just respond to a post without flying off the handle because someone says they play WoW?
Apparently not. What is definitely missing in this game is some sort of keybind for "Target Next" because having to click to attack is really flipping lame.
