Its definitely PR stuff, but I won't complain, in reality its what most companies should do, free DLC coupled with cash shop or something to that effect, so the game keeps growing and people keep playing and paying.

Coincidence that they planned to release free expansions to multiplayer?  I don't think so.  You don't need to pay to play it now, and I don't think see why they would charge to unlock additional characters for MP.

I have more of a problem with Valve than EA. That Cold Stream release for L4D2 on 360 was supposed to be right after Portal 2 came out.

It's almost a year later and no Cold Stream plus they offer really uninformative updates on it. CURSE YOU VALVE!

But really though, who cares for the reason? It's free. People should take it in stride and complain more after they download it =P

definitely seems like a coincidence. but, free stuff is always welcome in my book. two free DLC's.... is this all a dream?

I wont deny that it's solid reasoning. We've seen Valve do it to great success (TF2) and in general.

I was excited reading we could play as geth, but after watching the trailer, batarians look freaking amazing. I just hope that it doesn't take super long to unlock them.

I wasn't even remotely excited about the batarians when they were whispered rumors.

Then I saw the video and thought "hey, that looks cool!"  The sentinel looked pretty sweet.

probably only way to get them is by buying the spectre packs (which, over the week, all i've been buying is the premium spectre pack... best decision i ever made in multiplayer). it's easy to get the money for those packs though... so, probably not that hard

Kinda confused by the Asari Justicar though - that means 2x Asari Adepts (do batarians not have biotics at all or something?) plus the other two asari have skills called "Asari Justicar". Still, her model looks nice (and looks how the Asari Vanguard should have looked from the start).

Looking forward to seeing what the new hotness has, just hope I don't have to unlock them from random packs because if that's the case I'll never get to play them.

same confusion bro. we'll just have to see. and batarians are for the sentinel class. idk about any others.

No, that's the asari vanguard.  Asari Justicar is considered an adept.

No Asari Adept, and Asari Vanguard are out now. Asari Justicar is 'not' out (as a character title). Both Adept and Vanguard asari have a 'passive' called Justicar Training - but that is not there class title. As was pointed out in the post you made a bit ago.

Krogan Soldier, Krogan Sentinel, for instance have 'Berserker' as there main passive (and rage as tehre fitness replacement). ALL humans have 'Alliance Training' but that doesn't make them the alliance class - its just to show a basic background. Perhaps the 2 asari where 'trained' by Justicars but are not justicars? It's a big war...

I just hope they offer some sort of pack to unlock to the new characters. I'd spend a dollar or two on it (okay, maybe a little more than that). I'm somewhere near n7 250, and because Spectre packs hate me, still missing SI and QE. While I have many of the other classes fully appearance customized.

I want Justicar so much.

So its naturally the one thing I wouldn't get if I have to get it out of Spectre packs.
