You can't kill 5 years of sweet memories in 10 minutes, but you sure as Hell can make them bitter.

Good idea. Let's all throw a huge hissyfit because a corporation made a product that we liked, but with one part we didn't like.
While we're at it, could someone please play "How Could This Happen To Me?" I'll run to Target and pick up some steak knives so we can start cutting ourselves.
"One part"? For me, at least, most of the game was a let-down. It just reeked of laziness and was clearly rushed through development.
And you can go ahead and cut yourself, I'll just be sitting here...not bleeding to death.

pre-orders, my faith in BW, etc.. done. Will wait until the dlc to reserve final judgement. But creatively, I have seen all I need to see and the days of Bioware meaning quality to me are done.

ME3 was great with an ending that left some to be desired. Why are you all so intent on getting revenge on Bioware/EA for giving you a single, controversial game. For Christ sake it's like 60 bucks - you pay double that a month on car insurance. Go get mad at them.

ya, i think im done.
How can we blame ea and bioware at this point. Our own player representatives dropped the ball at pax. We have no voice. Perhaps the true majority out there really don't care about all of the inconsistancies and space magic. Maybe at the end of the day the retake mass effect movement was selfish and shortsighted after all.

Note: Donating money is not the same as losing money.
Retake failed because it didn't draw blood, and didn't want to bleed. You want to change something? Inflict real damage, monetary or otherwise, and be prepared to get damaged yourself.

Until the next game comes out with worse quality than ME3 and asks you to pay another 60 bucks.

I've gone from hoping they were as good as I thought they were, to not caring anymore. Now instead of telling people to play the ME games I will tell them not to bother, I can't recommend them anymore
Up until now I have still been recommending the game, as I thought surely they would make it better...obviously not.

This probably will be the last time I preorder and go to midnight launches, but truth be told only Mass Effect has gotten me THAT excited for a new game.

They were never going to explain the ending DLC in full at PAX, and they were always going to screen or dodge questions about the ending. No surprises there, it's pretty standard for that kind of thing.
Until I see the extended ending, I don't know what it will be, and I'm not going to work myself into a fury imagining the worst-case scenario. Not having a go at anyone, just worn out right now.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment though. It's why I find it's better to have no hope for the extended edition DLC. But I wonder if that was their intent all along- make you accept mediocrity.

Played pretty much every game they made since NWN was released. Always pre-ordered.
Recent track record of DA2, SWTOR (booring), ME3 have put me off the wagon. Will see the free DLC but everything else has changed. Will look at trusted reviews before I go off and buy another BW game.

Only missing out on DA2 after life commitments elsewhere. I was glad I dodged that bullet, but the ending of ME3 and the way Bioware have handled it since have soured me enough that I am happy to get off the train here. Prior to these issues, it was automatic purchase and recommendations to many people from me; no longer.
The "Free" DLC coming up for clarification?
I will NOT be downloading it on day one of release as my "boycott" against them. That is my response to Bioware and EA. You may have made it free, it does not mean you are forgiven, neither does it mean I will return as a perma customer, or even a casual customer.
If and ONLY if after I am happy with the DLC after my 1 day of boycotting the DLC as my stand, will I even consider purchasing anything again from the future that has a Bioware label. And even then, I will be warning everyone I know and the people that will hear me, that Bioware games have changed, and need to be given time to see if it's worth getting.
100% dissapointed in Bioware.

Right I forgot no one can criticize anything ever, especially when it comes to its quality as an artform. And how else can consumers communicate displeasure with a company other than withholding their money?
