I'm not going to sell my games (hell, I'm replaying ME1 right now), but yeah, I think I'm done. I don't have any real hope for the extended cut, but I am curious to see how it plays out and I don't think that Bioware can disappoint me more than they already have.
I still want to keep visiting these forums though - it is addictive.

My feeling about Bioware right now is like a when your girlfriend cheats on you. I want them to take them back, but only if they truly sorry. That is a really stupid analogy isn't it?

I am not selling games I already have - might as well play them now. I am done buying new BioWare games though. Company just does not get it. Lol at "clarifications" DLC. Just don't get it, do they?

good riddance. I'm not being mean but it's the truth. The end is not the only thing that a fictional work is judged on, it's the entire beginning and middle, the end just says how you will immediately feel, rather than the long term memory you take away from it.

And if it's because of the fact that bioware is addressing the ending's problem their way instead of doing exactly what some fans want and gutting the whole thing to start from scratch, than you should go. Because if you've already made up your mind that it's bad without even looking at other reviews for it yet, than you really will never be satisfied again.

So really, you have the best solution for bioware, the fandom, and yourself.

Not at all. It is actually quite appropriate to compare our relationship with Bioware to a toxic relationship with a boyfriend or girlfriend. They keep saying things will be better, and we keep saying"but I LOVE him/her", and nothing changes.

At some point this has to end.

I'm not done with Bioware, but any other EA product will not grace my home. It's sad really. I always loved Maxis and the Simcity games, but the newest installment is not looking to healthy at all. I'll still give Bioware the benefit of the doubt though.

I find this place entertaining with good people all around. Emotions are very high so the sniping back and forth is expected. I honestly can't play ME anymore because the ending (for me) ruined it. Made it feel kind of worthless, again thats my view on the thing, I don't expect anyone else to feel the same. There will be another series like it in the future and with tech advancing it will make you look back and say "Wow ME has really aged" when/if you do a comparison, it always happens in video game land.

What they have now is as good as it will get for people that do not like the way it went down. Sucks but life marches on, and a lot of other great works are coming are way. And being a console person, FINALLY new hardware, thank god!!! I'm more worried about the antiquated (sp) hardware than anything else LOL

Yeah, pretty soon it will be like Deus Ex, with riots on the street and the illuminati.Well, it already is like Deus Ex in one way.

Deus Ex was a better game than ME3. At least you weren't playing planet scanning mail man in it.

I have decided as long as i live i will not spend a penny on any game that has anything to do with EA or BW but i wont sell my current games of course (maybe ME3 if multiplayer gets boring and the new sp dlc sucks)

i'm close to done that "discussion" was a crock of ****. Basically just them jerking off their ego's and sputtering the same artistic bull****.

But I'm giving them until the extended cut dlc to see what they do. If they make it work then I will apologize and give them their due for fixing it at least somewhat, it's more than most studios would do. But if it comes out and it's just look space magic... with.. a codex entry. And look some parts of the citadel have shields so not EVERYOne is dead, SOME could have lived lets speculate on that! Then i'm done and my copies will be traded in towards AC3 (which is sounding better and better with everything I read that they are trying to do)

I fear that the ending dlc will be more along the lines of a codex entry and some added "closure" (not that closure matters if the ending is still ****). I'm not optimistic at all at this point. And right about now I just pity the people holding on to hope for the IT. It was a great idea, and it could've worked, but it's obviously not what BioWare intended and they clearly aren't implementing it with the new dlc.

Their decision to not make KotOR 2 made me wonder what going on...
The cliche ridden and poorly written DA:O made me question Bioware's integrity.
Their announcement and creation of KotOR MMO instead of KotOR3 made me question their integrity further.
The utter failure of DA2 made me seriously wonder if they were losing it.
Only the excellence of ME2 convinced me to purchase ME3 and now...I am one hundred percent positive that Bioware's best work is done and over with.

They are beginning their long descent into darkness.

After the way the treated their fans today at PAX, obviously avoiding all the real issues and either planting people to ask completely idiotic questions or only allowing certain people to ask based on what they wanted to talk about, I am done with bioware as a whole. I will download their free content in the small hope it helps ease my ME3 woes, and will avidly advise people to not buy their games. My total so far is 11 people kept away from ME3 (7 I convinced not to buy, 2 I've lent the game to, and 2 I've shown the endings to on youtube and then patted on the shoulder as they repeated "What the ****"). I'm furious, no way of getting around it. The only way I can retaliate is through word of mouth, a task I am attacking fervently.

If you weren't happy with ME2, I doubt anything Bioware can ever do from now on will make you happy.

Good bye.

Edit: Oh wait, I hadn't paid attention to your username. You got me.

Naw. I'll prolly still play the occassional EA or Bioware game. But they will be rented or purchased used. I see no reason to support them financially.

I'm not planning on selling or giving away my current Bioware games. But I will not be as quick to purchase their products in the future.

As for EA .... they are what they are. You stop buying EA games, you're going to miss out on a lot.

People like Zolt51; please stop speaking as if you are some sort of authority.  Count the number of individual posters upset, confused, or even angry about the ending, and then count its supporters.  While this doesn't make your opinion matter less, it certainly takes away your right to be flippant or arrogant about a company you have no more stake in than us.  The general concensus is obvious; bioware failed.  They made a faulty product, and their core fanbase is turned away because of it.  So please leave your "Good bye's" and whatever else out.  You can be damn sure our posts aren't meant for you.
