Their decision to not make KotOR 2 made me wonder what going on...
The cliche ridden and poorly written DA:O made me question Bioware's integrity.
Their announcement and creation of KotOR MMO instead of KotOR3 made me question their integrity further.
The utter failure of DA2 made me seriously wonder if they were losing it.
Only the excellence of ME2 convinced me to purchase ME3 and now...I am one hundred percent positive that Bioware's best work is done and over with.
They are beginning their long descent into darkness.
interesting observation though quite flawed. Every game you mentioned has won awards for its excellence. Perhaps you just don't have an eye for quality
You're not a very good troll brah.

I'm def. not done. I love BW, and I love them even more for giving free stuff. Free dollars is always good. They aren't changing the endings, which is good as well, just clarifying for those that didn't understand.
I'm looking forward to DA3, especially if what I heard was true and the Warden is back!
I do, however, find it funny that people whined and moaned about how they want the DLC to be free, and it is, and they're still complaining about it. But you know almost all of them will still download it.
My sentiments exactly... very, very slim hope.Carlthestrange wrote...
I think anyone still on this forum is holding hope for the coming DLC.
Frankly if its not what I want, I won't even come back here to say. I just won't come back.

I will DEFINITELY hold off on DA3 until I hear from fans, NOT from biased gamer studios, who clearly post their reviews prior to finishing the games.
Even then I might not bite if a cool Skyrim DLC comes out. As sad as it is to say, quite clearly Bethesda now has my heart and soul. Bioware has been relegated to a standby, assuming nothing else looks appealing.

I'm giving BW the benefit of the doubt. It seems that they told their EA superiors to shove off, I don't think EA would allow this much free content willingly. This might be a sign of Bioware "assuming direct control".
Keep this in mind.
The Bioware founders make money to make games.
The EA founders make games to make money.
Look up the differences on how the two started, different philosophies.
These two actions are starting to look like the 3(?) medical doctors who pooled money to start a game company.
The free extended ending DLC by itself is not that impressive, the fact that they are giving away the Resurgence pack before the extended ending for free is what is encouraging to me.
Instead of waiting after the extended ending DLC then selling the Resurgence pack, they give it out, they throw away the potential revenue to attempt to bandage relations with the fans.
Doesn't sound like an EA decision to me, sounds a bit more like the old Bioware.
Acknowledge the gesture for what it is: an apology of sorts. Acknowledge, and think about it.
Do not stop letting your views be heard, but give them the benefit of the doubt. They have a chance to salvage this, continue giving feedback and ideas on how to make it count.
Extended could mean many things, including Shepard reunited with crew (That's not technically changing, thats extending)
The wording is somewhat loose, use it. Ask them to use it well.
Don't give up: Hold the line/wallet. EA will not get any more money from me until I can play the ending without feeling nauseous. I am willing to see how they extend the ending, they may surprise me.
And I am no longer preordering ANYTHING with an EA label. Unfortunately, BW, that means you too.
And calm down about it, people. I hate the ending as vehemently, if not more, as most of you. No one takes anonymous rage and trashing seriously. And being uncivil is no way to get things done, some of what is posted here and what is posted to BW developers makes me sick: such actions belittle our ideals, doesn't promote them.
Be reasonable.

Look, they are addressing the issues we've raised. True, they aren't going far enough, in my opinion, but they've taken a step in the right direction. This is a victory. We've held the line and EA/Bioware is working on the problem. They are watching us to see if we are satisfied with this, they've said so and by releasing the Extended Cut they've shown to be doing exactly that. They are going to give us closure.
Unfortunately, the ending as it is, stays, according to their press release. Which is why many feel that they haven't listened, that they don't care, that we failed. But I couldn't disagree more.
The Extended Cut is a work in progress and if we make it clear that it should be the basis of a proper ending, then EA/Bioware may be persuaded to do so. They have a vested interest in keeping their core fanbase on board and the franchise alive.
Don't loose hope now! Hold the line! Make your voice heard! We've won a battle, but not yet the war, although I don't like what that implies, that is what we're dealing with here. We're halfway to our goal, we need to keep our spirits up!
Oh ya i agree i kicked bioware out of my favorite game company seat and put bethesda up there. Cant wait for skyrim dlcsfam wrote...

I serioulsy can't wait. Skyrim had enough diversity that for each character you wanted to try there were enough side missions that you could do different, related ones with each of your characters. Truly great great stuff!HumingTurtle wrote...
