After playing Dragon Age on Xbox I saw an offer on Amazon today for DA:O Unlimited on PC and figured why not.

After installing via Origin the main game works fine, but after I entered the DLC code my Bioware Social profile shows the DLC installed but in game states it's unauthorized.

I contacted support who said the system is down and I should come back in 2-3 hours. Which is just plain frustrating.

Is this a regular bug on Origin DLC or a one off?

It sounds like I'm having the exact same problem. I installed it last night through Origin and the game runs and the DLC shows up but its inaccessible because Dragonage won't let me log in. It seems pretty redundant since I'm already logged in through Origin. The online help was about as non-helpful as possible.

Having this issue as well.

Edit: Trying the 1.05 patch, will update if it works.

Edit #2: Yep, that did it. Download patch 1.05 here, make sure you exit the game before installing. Happy adventuring.

Patch 1.05 should fix authorization issues. Also, make sure you don't have any "special" characters in your password... anything other than a numeral or a letter can cause the authorization to fail. DA:O was created before the modern day practice of requiring special characters for security.

Just went back and installed 1.05 fixed the issue THANKS!

Tech Support still didn't understand the issue and asked me to ensure i didn't use my CD Key.... sigh.
