In a direct sequel:
Which party characters, NPCs, monsters, critters and environments would you keep?
Which party characters, NPCs, monsters, critters and environments would you drop?
Any suggestions on new party characters, NPCs, monsters, critters and environments?
What features stay, go or get added?
I'd keep the annoying Alistair, [Dog] and Sandal. I'd kill Schmooples and Zevran. I'd leave Oghren to turn more women off of men as an NPC. The First Enchanter should keel over from old age (if not out-right killed). Wynne would be a good NPC if she can live that long. Leliana and Shale are likely not going to be there, and I'm glad. I'm not sure if I'd really want my own PC to return. I like Sten, but I think he should go home. I'd add sea critters such as dolphins or some kind of vague Loch Ness monster appearence. I'd keep waterfalls. I'd tone down the caverns business, but add volcanoes and more dangerous environments versus just environments filled with dangerous creatures. Griffons. Morrigan as an elusive NPC. I'd like to see snake people, more exotic shapeshifters and elementals (other than iron and rock), possibly as party characters. I'd like there to be a "pet" spot for certan party characters as well as one for the player's character which could hold [Dog] or another pet. Like [Dog], environmental interaction could bring different benefits and the pets have their own approval to determine the level of the benefit. I'd like the possibility of bonding a party character or player character to a benevolent spirit like in Origins but not just a specific character (yet just one). The choice of character for the bonding would determine the ability that they gain. I'd like to see floating environments outside of the Fade.
This is just a rambling list, but what about you all? What would you keep, drop or add to a direct sequel to Origins?
Who gets voted off the realm?
