If anyone even begins to believe their reasoning, the fingers make it clear what a farse that was. They barely spent the time to cut off two fingers. I mean seriously, is it really not possible to admit a little truth? Just a little?
NOBODY believes a picture would have been better than Tali taking her mask off at Rannoch or in a love scene.

I've a theory that they decided they'd get flak for whatever they did with Tali so decided that it wasn't worth putting in much effort. Pity, a face-on view on Rannoch, seeing her smile, would've been a beautiful moment. Plot-wise a photo makes more sense. Shepard has seen her before so the actual reveal would've meant less but an unmasked photo of her on her homeworld would be a touching gift to him.

I like the concept, but would have some changes.
1. Why so crossed eyes.She looks like a asian on crack.( no offense I'm asian) * image removed *
2.Do you really think her eyes are glowing the whole time. Maybe its some thing in darkness like cats. I mean if I'm shephard and I'm on top of her, I'm gonne be freaked out by her. I wouldn't RISE to the occasion. LOL!
3. I wish they had a more emphasis on skin color. Pretty much everyone thought she was at least a pale purple.
4. The Hair! I always imagined it shorter. I mean putting in that in your suit after every bootycall( And I own the phone company) must be a real Bosh'Tet * image removed *
5. Nail polish wtf. Do Quarians even have nail polish?
6.The fingers look like my girllfriends ********.(He did not)
7. Oh, he did.
8. We have enough characters with black hair. Why not a brownie.
9. That shawl and the way she posed isn't possible and not like her respectively.

1. Those cybernetics wear pretty cool.
2. She looks pretty sexy.
3. It kinda looks like Rannoch.

Everytime you start a game and customize a Shepard you're pretty much doing the same thing Bioware would've had to have done to make Tali's face. 2-3 hours and they could've had a quick 3D model for like 5 seconds of cutscene time when she took her mask off for some space-sex.
Just think: you can customize Shepard and make him/her look like a complete freak, and the lips still move and the eyes still blink. There is already a code written for Shepard's expressions, they could've copied that to anything they wanted and just tweaked it. No need to even hire a model and do the mocap stuff. So I think it's complete b.s. that they stole a picture from getty image, photochopped it, and called it "art".

If the character deserved to be based on a real person, why the heck did they use a stock photo instead of the actress who played her? They say one thing, but do another. Their actions speak louder. They didn't give a crap. They can' possibly believe their own words. It would have been nice to get an honest response on the issue.

Yep, they said Tali ALSO deserved real world face model. Well surprise, all she got was stock image. How they can even say DESERVE when they only use stock image <_<

hay it's better than what they were giving us before, complete and utter silence. Then some kind of confusing statement about maintaining you know what *starts with 'art' ends with 'egrity'. I'll give them another shot to fix this. They best make it right.
