If you are like me and you name all your MP characters actual names according to their culture then you are probably wondering how to name a Geth character. I think I found a pretty good way to do it. Let me know if you like it and share what you got!
Method:
Unit x-ny-m
-x is a random number between 1 and 10,000 (use random.org)
-n is a random letter (use a random number between 1 and 26 and use the corresponding letter)
-y is a number between 0 and 9
-and m is the letter "I" for an Infiltrator or an "E" for an Engineer.
My two results were:
Unit 2729-B3-E
Unit 5736-S1-I

Taking inspiration from Legion? but doesn't that only work for that particular demon, since he was comprised of many souls?

The only other similar thing to Legion in Chrisitanity that I could find (correct me if i'm wrong) that uses the multiple souls idea is from Buddhism. Jibakurei is composed of 108 souls.

There are many places from within the Bible one can take inspiration from, especially when naming a geth. Everyone knows the Apostle Paul's nickname was Flashlight Head.

Yeah but a geth engineer named "Geth" is...idk lame? (without being offensive) Plus in the story i chose to let the Geth keep the Reaper code so they became even more sentient, and i think at that point they would have enough sense of individuality to name themselves or their proscesses.

I take my names from the Dark legion.
In this case, I will name my geth, Xenin.

I was just going with Infiltrator and Engineer, but had considered something like your idea.
