I tend to name my characters with either cool sounding words(such as: Renewed, Fielded, Influx) or after historical/religious things: (Sacramentum, Pratorian, Angelic, Legion).
Been doing this since the day Diablo 3 got announced. :D:D

Well, they also used Lazerous (or however spelled). That is a hard thing to come up with, Make a lot of numbers, dashes and letters put them in a hat choose a random number of cards and start picking.

I name all of my characters after Roman Emperors

So like Tiberius, Julius, Nero, Augustus, etc. When I eventually get my Geth infiltrator I'll end up doing the same, just to keep the theme going. I was thinking of possibly Titus or his father Vespasian

Use greek gods names. That what the books and all media use to name stuff. Titan, Zeus. Chaos. Mars.Pegasus. etc

I named my engineer C-3PO. Yes, he is gold. When I unlock the infiltrator, I'll make him blue/white/silver and name him R2-D2.

My Geth Engineer is named: Arc.
Biblical ties to match the lore.
Same connotations as legion in that an Arc carries many singular units.

I like naming things.
