If I'm not mistaken Shadow Borker video files in ME2 identifies Legion as Geth Platform 2A93.
So I named my Infiltrator 2A96 and Engineer 2E47. One day they will get a name like Legion did

I always figured a Geth might name itself based on what someone called it, kinda like droids occasionally were in Star Wars (A droid named Mynock because he screamed like one in battle).

This then caused me to imagine a Geth named Bosh'tet.

I know what my Geth will be named.

Adepts are named after Egyptian Gods.

Soldiers are just bad ass names.

Engineers are named after things dealing with electricity.

Sentinels are named after Norse gods.

Infiltrators are named after things dealing with darkness.

Vanguards are now named after different US military Aircraft  (previously had crappy names because I couldnt think of anything) 

Just my codenames for each squad. 

Pretty nice idea!

For now, I've named my Geth Infiltrator... Spybot. Seems fitting enough.
