I never really got angry at the endings.  Yes, they disappointed me, and I am looking forward to the extended cut to hopefully see the clarification, but anger... not really.

I've been a fan of BioWare's products since BG, and the fact that I don't like the ending of this trilogy (despite the fact that it's a series that I adore) isn't going to stop me from purchasing their games in the future.

The games are theirs to make.  They write the stories, they code them, they put hundreds of hours of work into bringing a quality product to market.  Yes, they take fan feedback into account, such as the Garrus/Tali romances, making fun of the bugs and mechanics, and calibrations...

However, they are taking popular ideas and requests and incorperating them into BIOWARE'S product in order to entertain and satisfy the requests made by the fans.  At the end of the day, the copyright for Mass Effect is BioWare/EA's name, not BioWare, EA, and Fans.

People keep talking about promises that were made to us, we were given information about a product that was still in development, and as such, was subject to change at any time.

Anything that is produced for mass market can be hit or miss.  Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me (and a lot of other people).
