So, I just finished the game this morning, and I have to admit it was fun.  I really enjoyed the story but there was so much that could have been done better.  I was dissapointed when the game ended.  First off, why did nothing ever return to areas I had been to before?  I went back to areas, expecially the deep roads, and there were no dark spawn to fight?  I thought that was where they called home?  I couldn't have cleared them out completely.  What are the marked areas on all the maps that I can't get to?  I think we should be able to explore all of the deep roads and all the markers on the maps.  There was a picture of a dragon on the deep roads map, but no way to get to see what was there?  So many things that could have truely made this game awsome.  As far as content, Oblivion blows this game out of the water, story line DA:O was far better.  The supposed best heavy armor in the game looked rusted and retarded.  It should have at least looked cool.  It was made of dragon scales for goodness sake, that was not easy to get.  When I got it, I was sorely dissapointed.  You don't even get a matching helmet until your half way through the final battle.  Though, I did like the humor when you find the "mentaly disabled" dwarf in the fort at denerim, you ask how he killed all the dark spawn around, and he answers "Enchantment!".  I laughed for a good 15 - 20 minutes after that one.  I would have like to have him in my party, lol.  I really hope that the sequal, which there had better be one, answers all the questions at the end.  There are so many other lands mentioned in the game, why not let us go there?  I can understand not having them all in the first game, but maybe that would have made it a heck of a lot better.  What if everything got over run by dark spawn and you had to flee in the beginning, gather an army and reclaim everything later?  That would have made for a cool story line.  It was a good game, but it really could have been great if there were a few things  added from the beginning.

spots on the map that you can see icons but not reach are well lets see common sense would make you think future DLC or an expansion. Did you really just ask why can't you kill everything & end all future expansions & sequels? Other complaints so far just seem like you rather play Oblivion. Armor wise you're way off, there are so many awesome sets of armor you just have to find them instead of complaining. Juggernaut, Ancient Dalish or Elven I forget, Dragon Scale, Drake Skin, Legion of the Dead, Felon's Coat, like ten other Epic stat boosting armor pieces. You should do a 2nd play through or search the forums for good items before judging since it seems like you didn't find much. Dragon Scale looks like rust? you know rust is a nasty orange brown sick mix...Dragon Scale is a deep burgundy plus i mean high fire resist & a bonus to stamina plus stamina regen in combat. Anyway I really think you should search some sites, forums & play through again before coming to a conclusion it just really seems like you didn't explore much at all.
