Ok here it goes, hope I don't get flamed or whatever and that Bioware reads and feels my passion for this. First I shall start with a speech that I am making write now to put on here, here it goes:

"For those that started a journey into space, to find new species or planets. Those who have played the game since the first one came out all the way to the newest one. Those who held the line at Virmire, those that cried or felt emotional when they had to leave a squadmate behind to die, those that felt connected to the characters they came across, those that stopped at nothing to stop Saren and the geth, those that fought the final battle at the citadel.

Those that were in disbelief when Shepard died, those that felt suprised when he came back, those that got emotional when the SR2 was revealed, those that recruted new and old team mates to fight the collectors, those that stopped at nothing to save their crew and humanity, those that defeated the human reaper and lived to tell the tale, those that went back to earth to face judgement.

Those that watched as millions died around them in an instant, those that escaped and vowed to fight the reapers off their planet by garnering support from the other races, those that developed, rekindled or finalised their relationships  with their loved ones. Those that cried when their friends and family died at the hands of the reapers, or their own! Those that Watched and waited for what they thought would be the end of everything! But instead got an ending which did not fit, did not make sense, got pushed in front of our faces and got told to accept it as truth, even by other heroes new and old! The star childs logic is not logic! Its a false assumption that this is how our choices should all end, in a culmination of 3 unavoidable, disliked, canon breaking, illogical mess that no one wanted!

We do not ask for a happy ending! We now we may die, we accept that, heck nearly all life will die but why should we accept choices given to use by an unkown entity? Why must we choose 3 choices that we do not want to make? After all this time fighting the reapers we get the choice to "Control" something which is uncontrollable, "Synthesise" with an enemy we fought ever since we stepped on a ship or "Destroy" everything we have fought for for 5 years?! We brokered peace between the Turians and the Krogan, a feat called impossible by some but still we achieved it. We brought an end to the hatred and war between the Synthetic Geth and the Quarians, which had reined for 300 years, and persuaded them to join forces against a common enemy. Even now they live peacefully, if a bit strained, in their new relationship. And yet we get given a choices to wipe all this out?! Just because its what people consider the artistic or perfect end to a saga?! NO I SAY! NO! We have seen how we can change peoples lives if we perservere! We did it with the Krogan! We did it with the Geth! We did it with the Rachni! If we do not let our voices heard no change will come about, no shining beacon at the end of the journey that we have gone through, the pain, the sadness, the happiness, the enjoyment, the Love will mean nothing unless we are heard!

Some may call us children for fighting for what we believe in but did that stop others who fought for lesser or real things?! Why can't we fight for our beliefs, our needs, our wants?! Why must we be denied an ear to our pleas?! Because of artistic integrity?! Because the team who made the universe believes what they did is right? If they believe that it is right why can't we believe that it is wrong?! Should we just become part of the main way of thinking just because others think so?! Should we just accept what others say because they are more intelligent, better looking, faster or stronger than us?! Just because they can write a story, poem or epic saga does not give the right to ingore the peoples voice! If someone has feelings about something that is being belittled or abused they will voice their concerns! If they care about something that they have invested their lives in since the beginning they will say what they think! But this isn't just one man or woman! This is an army of people that demand..no Pray, BEG for an ending that will meet the expectations, the love and caring, the devotion, the time and money that we have spent with this world. Yet we are refused such an ending!

Instead we get promises of extra scenes that will explain all the endings we do not like! They say they listen when in reality they listen to only what they want to! Only to the criticisms that meet their goals, their requirements, do they listen! They used to care about each and everyone of us! They used to give use a caring pat on the back when we needed it, they gave us a bone when we hungered and they gave us a caring smile when we did not ask for it! And now they give us false smiles with empty hands that promise nothing but the next stimulant to keep you occupied! Once they cared but no more! None know why this is, some say it is because of a certain group. Others say they are becomming corrupt. I say that they have simply lost their way! They believe that what they are doing is just and correct! When in reality they are dealing themselves killing blows. Do they know this? Of course not! In their bliss they have unwittingly cause a chain of events that could create their downfall. Who can save them? Who can stop them from destroying themselves?! We, the people, thats who! And how do we do such a feat? We tell them! We preach to them to look back at their past achievements and be humbled, not filled with arrogance! They created great stories and adventures! If all that was for naught then they have truly lost their way! We must not let them falter and move down a dark path! We must help them! Tell them, friends, how they went wrong! Ask why they did this! Yell how to go back! Shout words of encouragement! Scream you feelings and affection for them! They shall listen! For not all of them have turned a deaf ear to the people. Some still care for all of us, they may be stifled or preoccupied but they listen as hard as they can for us! Believe that they will redeem themselves, say what you can to help them! And above all DO NOT GIVE IN! Our stories may have reached a sour note of late but with our voices they can end in a symphony like never before!"

Well there you go, took me 2 hours to write but hopefully it caught attention :P Maybe it will garner alot of hate but I thought I might as well put it out there. Others have voiced their concerns so i thought I might try to help. Now onto the next topic. If it is hard to get them to listen then there is one last ditch attempt that we can do, one that should be handled carefully and elicatley so not to alienate Bioware from their fans. You might think to write letters to them directly, that might work but I have an idea that may or may not work, for all I know it might blow up in everyones face. But here it is:

Go to Bioware directly.

I don;t know if anyone has thought of this yet but if the forums aren't working then we need to talk to the head of Bioware, the bigshots, the big cheese, the head honcho's. It maybe a little extreme but if handled correctly it may provide the path that could make or break the company. But not everyone should go down there, that could just turn into a riot or worse. We would need tos end someone that could do the following:

1. Keep a calm a level head through the discussion, we don't it to turn into a brawl or shouting contest do we?
2. Provide evidence on why so many people dislike the way the saga ended clearly and with plenty of proof
3. Provide remedies to the stituation and give reasons why it would help, with evidence for it
4. The person would not relent easily and try to dissuade them from using words like "Artistic Integrety" when it does not apply, or if it does to say why and how it makes them out to be quite arrogant.
5. If an ending is agreed upon make sure that they can do it in a tasteful manner.

Like I said this may make or break the company but it is worth a shot. If we don't do anything this could just be the start of things going wrong. First it would be this botched ending that is seen as a perfect ending to a game. Then a game mechanic will be put in another game that they think is good, but no one else likes. Then they will shorten dialogue to make their games more suited to the "Average" guy. Then they will try to make the game more accessible to the mainstream,  when they basically do a lionhead and make it a one button bashing event. And in the end they will be so blind to their mistakes that they will believe that everything that they have done to that point was right and that the players have no idea on what they want in a game, believing that they know everything about how games should be made and played.

If you haven't guessed already I love Bioware. I have ever since that first game I played that was made by them. Star wars: The Old republic. True I'm not the oldest Bioware "Fanboy", if that is hat you want to call it, but I hope to be one of the most devoted. I have loved every game that they have ever made since then, from SW:TOR to Jade empire to Mass effect. And I just hate to see my favourite company start to become something completely different from what I used to know and love. Is it silly to adore a company so much to say I love them? Is it silly to say that someone loves a rock star? Or space travel? An animal? Or an inanimate object, like a teddy bear? No. People shouldn't berrate others just because they love something they don't, be it a small teddy bear or an animal. Just because they don't understand why we care about games so much that we would shout and claw our way through bs to talk to someone that would listen, doesn't give them the right to call us childish or silly or even stupid. We don't say people a stupid for their likes. Like tv, or pop music or driving cars or any other thing. I know people have their own opinion and others may feel that what I posted is a load of nonsense posted just to make me feel better, and you maybe right. But if even one person from Bioware reads this and is moved by it then I consider this post a success. This might make big sweeps and cause Bioware to think seriously about what direction to take, or it might be ignored, flamed and deleted by the administrator. But as long as a few people read this before then I will be happy.

Thank you for reading this thread and please comment on what you think and if it would be possible to do this. Good night.

Here is a video that has more points that I wanted to make but couldn't because I could not word it properly. Bioware needs to watch this as well as it explains to them the core problems with the game :D Video
