no.
But not because of the ending, or not because game adaptations mostly suck and blow at the same time. The reason is, if you played 3 games with a female character, with Jennifer Hale's voice, i doubt i will be
able to accept a Male Shepard, not even with Mark's voice. Same thing happens when i watch all those trailers, for me, the male Shepard is an impostor
+1
I like many of your post that i've seen of late The Angry One, but I have to say, Why are so many of you FemShep Players so goddamn sexist?
Even my brother who plays as FemShep, has some strange aversion to male Shepard. Its just pretty damn shallow and ridiculos.
If you ask me. Which nobody did.
I have 7 Male Shepard playthroughs of Mass Effect 2. And only one FemShep playthrough. I finally got around to playing as FemShep in ME1. And enjoyed it a great deal. But i can't say the same about ME2.You know
why.Because...
One: I can't stand Jennifer Hale's voice acting. (I know, I may be in the minority here.) But even in the Reinstated
FemShep Trailer for ME3. Ms.Hale comes across sounding very smug. With the way she says, "I know a thing or two about killing Reapers." And, "
Tell your friends were coming for them."
Two: In ME2 I just didn't find being FemShep as fun as it was being her in ME1. Her romantic options were lame. And she didn't come across as having the same gravitas, in either appearance or voice that Mark Meer
brought across as Male Shepard.
I'm not trying to start another Mark Vs. Jennifer Debate. This is just my two cents.
And no. I have no intention or desire to see a Mass Effect Live Action Film -- after the colossal f*ck up that is Mass Effect 3.

Hey, i think Joker totally redeems himself in ME3. He's a good guy and I like him.

I regard Jennifer Hale's Shepard as the true Shepard. That doesn't mean I hate men.
But because I know somebody will put words in my mouth anyway....

Deal with it.

I don't buy 100% of Hale's paragon, but her renegade? oh yeah! You do not want to mess with renegade femShep.
I did one play through with male Shep, and I just can't relate to Meer's delivery. Guys probably can much easier.

So much this, her voice is abysmal. Meer's voice has that humble but willing heroic vibe. Smugness might be the best description of her VA on Shepard I've heard. +1 internets to you my friend.
The majority can deal with it.

How is this: www.youtube.com/watch
Better than this: www.youtube.com/watch
Yeah, I know, "IT'S JUST ONE EXAMPLE," but the problem with that is that Hale sounds like that all the time.
Meer was pretty lackluster (in some ways) in ME and got much better on 2, but he hit his peak on Mass Effect 3. He killed it. There wasn't a line in the game he delivered that I thought was outright bad.

Heavily preferring is one thing. Agreeing with someone who says "Male Shepard is an imposter." Are two entirely different things.

How can you not see how sexist and shallow this is? Your telling me that you woudn't watch a Live Action Story with Commander Shepard. If BioWare found a brilliant male actor to potray the first human Spectre. But would watch it.If it was a female in the lead regardless of how good or bad an actress she is. <_<

On topic: I like both male and fem Shep. Although the dialogue is the same, I like to play them differently for some reason. My Femshep is a badass Renegade, while my Maleshep is a Paragon hero.

To some of us, we have no interest in a male Shepard. He's not real to us, and is an imposter. To us.
Don't like it? Tough.
Oh and really those of you criticising Jennifer Hale?
The difference between Hale and Meer is Hale is playing the part of Commander Shepard. Meer is playing the part of "some guy". This is not me saying he's not Shepard, this is illustrating that Hale is actually acting a part, where as Meer is told to be a bland everyman through no fault of his own.
Why? I have no idea. Perhaps it's what they think male players relate to... and apparently it seems to work for some of you.
