I have yet to replay Mass Effect 3 until they give me some sort of closure.

That said, I started my first femshep playthru, started with ME1 am close to completing ME2. Gotta say I like her voice acting alot more. My only issue is I just can't bring myself to romance the male characters so I romanced Liara...

I may start another femshep playthru of ME2 as full renegade, seems like it would be fun.

Still can't bring myself to play ME3 again.

I've only played the game with Femshep, and gotten to Palaven with Dudeshep, and honestly...

I really dug Hale more. She had a lot nuance than Meer has shown so far. But it's apples and oranges. Who cares.

Oh and really those of you criticising Jennifer Hale?
The difference between Hale and Meer is Hale is playing the part of Commander Shepard. Meer is playing the part of "some guy". This is not me saying he's not Shepard, this is illustrating that Hale is actually acting a part, where as Meer is told to be a bland everyman through no fault of his own.

Your  half right Hale is playign the part of comander  shepard, her Interpreation is a  ****

Meer is also playing the part of shepard, his interpration is a guy that has the healthy range of emotions, and dosent say every line like its his time of the month.

Now see? This is the stuff that comes off as sexist.

Opinions!

Didn't you know? Apparently people have them and don't always agree with one another, yet they enjoy arguing in circles over who is more right because their opinion matters more because it's theirs!

It's a shocking truth, the internet is full of them.

Alright, that's it. You want to cross the line? Go do it to an empty audience. I'm done dignifying you with a response.

I definitely preferred maleshep. That's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around or anything.

Why? I have no idea. Perhaps it's what they think male players relate to... and apparently it seems to work for some of you.

I'd guess they were both told to play the part of a military commander; Meer felt the way to do this was to act cool headed and formal, while Hale felt sounding tough and slightly world weary fit the role.

How to tell if your pro-femShep statements are sexist:

1). Make your comment.
2). Replace the feminine pronouns and/or subjects with masculine ones, or vice versa.
3). If the statement is sexist when it's pro-maleShepard, you've just made a sexist statement.

Example:
"Female Shepard is the *real* Shepard,"

...is exactly as sexist as...

"Male Shepard is the *real* Shepard."

Sexism doesn't just magically disappear when you make militant pro-female comments.

How is this thread not locked yet? D:

On topic, I think it is simply a matter of preference. It is impossible to objectively say one is better than the other.
