Lol. "... more god-child, more nonsensical logic and it'll be awesome!"

I wonder if there's a way I could rent a digital billboard, hook up some speakers...

Lol, I'd totally chip in.

Kickstarter? We could buy some ad-space outside the BioWare office. Bus benches aren't that expensive.

Ya know what, I don't mean to hyjack this thread, but I would love to see that. Especially if Angry Joe would contribute his image to it.

Funny yes, constructive  - perhaps not.

And this is why I'm skeptical about this. I won't consider it a "victory" until I actually see how they clarify things. However, what we've been told makes it seem like we'll be getting more of what I didn't like. I'd love to be wrong though.

Angry Joe nails it again. Bioware are the ones who don't get it. Your ending sucks, it doesn't need clarity, it needs to be burnt with fire. Keep touting "Artistic Integrity!" Your ending as art is crap.

Angry Joe nails it again. Sums up my thoughts almost exactly. I still have one small shred of hope that the DLC will do SOMETHING right, but that hope shrunk quite a bit after watching. The PAX gloss-over session today didn't help things either.

"So they're telling us WHY their sh** stinks! Rather than giving you something that isn't ... smelly sh**."

That pretty much sums up the entire fiasco of this ExCut DLC.

Just finished reading a story on DA3...

"The final, and perhaps biggest, change coming to Dragon Age III will be decisions that matter."

Now where have I heard that before?

I do not agree with joe. I usually do, but he's not showing his usual impartial criticism that he usually shows.

He's basically just jumped on the pessimistic band wagon that I've become sick and tired of. No one can dismiss what the dlc will do, because they don't know jack didly about what the new content actually is. We can't celebrate this as a complete victory yet but at least wait until some actual evidence come out before you crucify them.

When the "pessimistic band wagon" happens to be the truth, you can't really avoid appearing to jump on it.

Its his opinion.  He's never liked the ending, and absolutely loved the Indoctrination Theory.  He doesn't like anything about the ending, how can he remain impartial?

We go by what BioWare tells us, and by what they TELL US it will only be an extension and "clarification" of this ending.
You can clarify garbage all you want, it's still just garbage.

Don't tout the "wait and see" spiel. If BioWare intended something truly different where would be the harm in telling us?
No, they've flat out said they consider their "artistic integrity" more important than us, and neither Joe or the rest of us have any reason to sit there and accept it.

But to an extend you are accepting it. You are still here on the company boards not moving on. Bioware heard you, they are working on the next DLCs for the next couple months. This ending closure you claim you don't even want will take them weeks to make. You actually think as time goes on they are going to go back and make a new ending for you guys? This is the best you'll get and imo, it's already enough.

You can't do anything else to Bioware that you haven't tried already unless you want to go to jail
