I've seen all his ME3 coverage, and he manages to hit the nail dead straight on the head, at least how I feel about it.
Also, I believed whole-heartedly that the IT would be true, but yeah, giving Bioware too much credit is right
1) Shepard is told Ghostchild's choices, and yet there simply isn't a "No" option.
2) Space Magic destroying Mass Relays... not good due to codex entry + Arrival DLC. Best decision is to remove that bit of cutscene; easy fix.
3) Remove joker cutscene; remake it in a way that it fits Joker's personality and explains how crew made it back to ship.

How do you feel about IT being added to tie the ending into something cohearent? if Bioware for some reason decides to go with it.warrior256 wrote...
I agree with him on everything except the IT bit. I never bought into that myself. But he nailed my initial reaction to seeing the annoucement perfectly

Maybe Bioware should clarify info on their clarification DLC?

saw it, he speaks for the community... that's one thing I like about him.
He speaks for the lunatic fringe of the community who wants to bury this DLC before we really know anything substantial about it.
We DO know they gave us one of the most non-sensical reviled endings of the decade. We DO know they blatantly lied to us at least a dozen times on the material of this game.
And you would presume to say that the "lunatic fringe" is wrong to question or be cynical? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Guess what your doing.
There's nothing wrong with questioning the DLC or being skeptical. There is something wrong with completely dismissing the DLC before we truly know anything about it.
You and all of your "OMG BIOWARE THE DEVIL" buddies are being petulant children. We got ending DLC, and you still complain about it.
ffs
This may feel a little disjointed because it's a reply I made to similar question in another thread.xsdob wrote...

When the "pessimistic band wagon" happens to be the truth, you can't really avoid appearing to jump on it.xsdob wrote...
I do not agree with joe. I usually do, but he's not showing his usual impartial criticism that he usually shows.
He's basically just jumped on the pessimistic band wagon that I've become sick and tired of. No one can dismiss what the dlc will do, because they don't know jack didly about what the new content actually is. We can't celebrate this as a complete victory yet but at least wait until some actual evidence come out before you crucify them.
But you have no proof to back up your claim of "it's the truth", you decided they were wrong before they ever said anything, and now you just interpret everything they say as being wrong.
Fans complained about lack of clousure, no epilouges, not seeing war assets comming into effect at the last mission, and the lack of differenciation in the ending. Bioware says they're going to try and fix this and fans attack them for not removing the starchild and keeping the ending choices and colors.
Fans aren't thinking rationally and probably never will for a long time. Hysteria, tramatization, and a general decision that bioware will never fix the mistakes they made have turned you guys into a group of pessimist who can't understand the concept of bioware doing something good for their fans.

So we should wait until it's finished and completely irredeemable? And if it turns out to not be what want like we fear right now, what can we do after that? If Bioware gets it wrong, I want it to because they didn't listen not because I didn't say anything.

He pretty much nailed it.
Or why the Space Magic damages the Normandy, which is not synthetic. Also, notice that the Reapers, with Destroy, don't take physical damage from the blast. They just fall over. But the Normandy gets knocked around and ripped apart.Auralius Carolus wrote...

And Tali and Garrus will starve on a Levo-Amino Acid based world.
But all of that can be "clarified". What can't be easily "clarified" is why the Normandy is rocketting off before Shepard's body is even cold.
One minute it's "Do or Die" the next it's "Fall back!".
