Which territory?
Is Alamar in Ferelden or the Free Marches?

I read the thread, had a look at a few maps, a few entries in the wiki for Ferelden, Amaranthine, areas bordering the island in question...and came up with nothing.
I didn't want to get your hopes up with a response to thread, only for it to be "I don't know" so I didn't post at all. <_<

Alamar is off the coast of Ferelden. Technically it's part of Ferelden's domain, but the kingdom doesn't have a great deal of presence there. Brandel's Reach is a rocky island right next to it which is considered to be a haven for raiders, so Alamar isn't really considered a prime place to live.
