I have been reluctant to pick this game up since I never liked space
type games much but this game is actually pretty decent. Right now I'm
at the  mission where I had to steal the normandy to pursue Saren and I
'm getting the vibe that I'm pretty much at the end of the game. Given
I invested 25 hours in veteran difficulty on my first playthrough I
think the lenght of the game is allright.

I'm pretty sure I will
replay this game a couple more times, so far I like the game but when I
was playing DA:O each subsequent playthrough was better for me and
I liked the game more each time I played it. I hope it will be the same
case for ME but we shall see.

I know this game is a little old
but I see that people still discuss it quite often so I would like to
ask ME fans a couple things about the game. I read somewhere that I
should only either pick charm or intimidate not both I kind of scrwed my
self because when I read the article I was already invested 6 point in
charm, thank god I leveled once at the place where I had to presuade
Wrex to chill or I would have to kill him. Here are my questions so that
I can play this game to full extent in my future playthrough.

1.
I am a infiltrator I chose that class because it's the only one
I realized can use pistols and an another weapon which happens to be a
sniper rifle. I'm not a big sniper rifle fan but in this game is really
cool to use and it's just cool. So any tip for this class? I am going to
be playing on the highest difficulty next time and I feel that I don't
understand the mechanics for the classes especially biotics.

2.
What are the major decisions that go over to next games? Is saving
Ashley instead of Kaidan do anything major? I killed the Rachni queen
anything bad happens if you let her live or is it just forparagon/
renegade points. I didnt kill the lady who had me kill her two crime
partners will she come back to bite me in the ass in the future?

3.
I am trying to knock up all the females in my crew but I think I been
going wrong about that. My priority was Tali becasue she reminds me of
my ex from Pakistan, the whole face mask thing does he no justice she's
totally lookin like she is wearign a hijab, I'm surprised Al-Queida
didn't target Bioware yet. My ex didnt wear one but that's just why she
is reminding me of her anyway do I get to knock her up? I kind of
screwed up the offer from the blue girl because I have no idea how
romances work here and I thought that I might not be able to get in on
with others if I do this. So far only Ashley gave it up and it wasn't
difficult at all to get her to do it. I'm planing on sexing the kinky
tatoes chikc in ME:2, any conflicts with that?

At the moment
this is all I can come up with as for questions and cocncerns one more
thing.. After replaying this game a couple times will I be dissapointed
with ME:2 as I was with DA:2 after playing Origins hardcore? I heard
ME:2 is simpler. Please feel free to add anything to this which might
help. I'm going to finish the game now and maybe I will have more
questions after I'm done thx allot peace.

Hey, congrats, Davillo. I'm just going to share some experiences while avoiding spoilers for ME2 or ME3.

1. Infiltrator

This was my favourite class in ME1. IMHO, it was the most effective (having played through with other classes) as it had just the right mix of crucial combat skills with a few tech skills. For subsequent playthroughts, I suggest focusing on Fitness for the Immunity powers and mostly Pistol, as later Spectre Pistols are so powerful and accurate that I rarely used my Sniper Rifle. I only found 1 enemy I had problems with on higher difficulties...a charging Krogan. So to deal with that, I chose a Bonus Power, Lift or Throw, to stop their charges.

2. Major decisions - there's a few that you'll really notice in ME2 and ME3:

- Did you save Wrex? This is actually pretty significant
- Saving the Council or not
- Saving the colonists at Zhu's Hope on Feros or not
- You'll see Ashley again
- The Rachni Queen does show up, but I kinda wished I didn't save her

You'll get emailed by almost everyone you helped or hurt in ME1 or you might run into them in a bar. Personally, the decision I was happiest with was saving Wrex, but I won't spoil the reason why for you. But don't worry, I don't recall any choice stabbed me in the back in later games.

3. Romancing Everything

Yeah, you're going to have interesting options for ME2, I think that has the most options. You can woo Tali in ME2, as I recall that wasn't an option in ME1. Moreover, you can romance the tattooed woman, Jack. The interesting thing is (minor spoiler here), you can just have a 1-night stand with Jack and continue your relationship with someone else, I think.

Finally, ME2 compared to ME1. I also played DA:O so I know what you mean, but IMHO ME2 is more streamlined rather than just simpler. At 1st, I found ME2 more exciting to play, but too basic because it removed a lot of options (like weapon mods). However, halfway through, I realised the streamlined game mechanics make it more challenging, as each decision you make has a greater impact, so you're more careful with your choices and strategies.

Thank you for the reply, yes I saved Wrex hes one of the coolest companions for me besides he totally owns being a biotic and being able to use shotguns and assault rifles. I think I will stay with this class and I have to start another play through from level 1 anyway because the overheat weapon bug fix wont let me level past 50 anyway on the harder play through.
