Aye, probably this for me to. Such a fantastic transition from 2D to 3D and took the franchise to a whole new level and once again introduce something that gaming sorely needed, Z-targeting!, it pretty much laid the foundation for 3D camera work and gameplay along with Mario 64.

It was a pretty damn good game, and I'm going to let you finish, but Final Fantasy VII was the best game of all time.

(my real views are in the OP, but I like all three games, just ME1 is my all time favorite, but I often see those two games contrasted against one another from different people).

I was thinking on answering this question but then I got lost on all the games I already played and loved... hard to choose between The Dig or Day of the Tentacle, KOTOR or Mass Effect, DOOM or.. no... DOOM was DOOM, then there is Chronno Trigger and other nintendo games... very hard to choose a favourite game of all time.
