As most of you know, I've been working on new weapon models for Arms and Armor, and I want to begin preparing them to put into the game. As part of this, I'll be rescaling many weapons to more logical sizes (especially 1H swords and daggers).
I'd like to set all weapons to scale to specific sizes. IE, the new mesh for the Warden Sword is intended to scale to a weapon approximately 36.5" in total length. The easiest way to set my scaling would be if I can determine how long the swords in the game are ALREADY meant to be, and then rescale based on this.
Does anyone have an estimate of just how long, say, the longswords in the game are supposed to be?

I believe each unit in max or maya or whatever your program is translates to 2m in game.

Either AC3D uses a different default grid size or that can't be right. The Longsword1 mesh is 1.29
grids long in the editor. If 1 grid = 2m, that makes for a sword over 8ft long!
However if I assume 1:1, that makes it 1.29m, or about 52" which sounds much better.
That points me in the right direction, tho. I'm going to assume 1:1 grids : meters

True, I was going by vertex coordinates, however I forgot it was a square and to double the length of the model, therefore it is 1 unit per meter.

Hmm... I just added model scaling to my tool, but there is no way to see how large the model is - but it should be relatively easy to add. I'll put it on the to-do list.
