I just wanted to know what the overall feeling towads The Director's cut DLC is.I feel some anger mix in with disappointment and a touch hope.I think they took the whole "its our art" reasoning a little to far (Mainly because its unfair defense). The good thing though is they announced something in regards to the ending...
How is everyone feeling?

I'm feeling hopeful, actually. I think it can make A LOT of difference, even if it's mostly cutscenes.
I also feel a bit weary of getting heartbroken again though...I don't want that to happen again
But mostly hopeful!

Happy that they are doing it, it could have been worse, but also incredibly disappointed that they are still lying and treating fans with contempt.
Also disappointed that they did actually seriously think the ending was good! ...I still had a vague hope that they had something up their sleeve, but now I am coming to terms with the fact that Bioware just aren't very good anymore.

Surprisingly OK actually. Bioware's statements have convinced me at least that this is the ending we are getting, they are going to try and explain it further but we get to live with the crap. No indoctrination ending. Its been a month and I am able to move on, the announcment of this DLC was the, time to move on and not think about it anymore.

My feeling and thoughts are: thank you, developers, that u heard some things from what fans told, thank you that you actually support the game for free, I really apreciate your hard work. But on the other hand - the content which you will provide in summer is not the desired one, I wished not closure and clarifications, but an ending without of this lot of plotholes.

Tired. From grinding credits in multiplayer, gotta get all those weapons unlocked!
Oh, about the extended ending? Unsurprised.

I feel nothing anymore. Moving on with other games. May try the extended cut dlc depending on reactions. Won't be getting any other dlc till then for sure, won't even be playing ME.
I'm wrong after typing that I feel sad again over what Mass Effect used to be to me.

I really can't summon the strength to care since I doubt they'll do anything to fix how they completely threw away my favourite character.

Well, this spring has been the worst ever as far as my allergies go... Oh, you meant about the dlc.
They said the dlc will offer clarification and closure. That's exactly what I asked for, so assuming they deliver, I'll be pretty good with it. So, cautiously optimistic, I guess.

Kinda empty..
Expected to be playing a great game just now, but it didn't quite turn out like that...

I'm... really depressed. My hopes were so high. I gave Bioware so much hope. I really wanted an Awakening-esque DLC.
Now I just feel.... empty. I don't even know anymore...
The only way I think I can accept this DLC is if the Geth + EDI live with high enough EMS.
But I'm getting worn down from the fighting... we need some good news.

Pretty positive, Did want some sweeter ending that was on par with the rest of the game, but Bioware decided they wanted to tell us this story and not something different. That's perfectly fine but then tell it all and don't expect the consumer to fill in all the blanks. Now that they said they are going to fill in the blanks I hope the idea behind this story will come together.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I was hugely disappointed at first, but something about the tone of the answers from the PAX panel made me think that maybe they'll get it right.
Of course, it's possible I just want them to so much I'm setting myself up for a huge disappointment, but I'm hoping that the same writing team that pulled off the Tuchanka and Rannoch missions can work another miracle.

This I would find better, although why EMS would be a factor, story wise to the existing endings I'm not sure.
