To be honest, I'm indifferent by now, since I created my own head-canon last game events, both pre and post ending. I will check the extra DLC "explanations" and clarifications on YouTube out of curiosity but I won't consider any of that canon, it's just too late for me. I'm very happy with what I created for myself. So I can't exactly be "for" nor "against" the DLC, it's just... going to happen and cool for those whom will become satisfied as a result. And it's free, there's always that if anything.
How is everyone feeling?

I'm... really depressed. My hopes were so high. I gave Bioware so much hope. I really wanted an Awakening-esque DLC.
Now I just feel.... empty. I don't even know anymore...
The only way I think I can accept this DLC is if the Geth + EDI live with high enough EMS.
But I'm getting worn down from the fighting... we need some good news.
I with you here, but deep down I knew it was unlikely. Good (concrete) news would be most welcome about now. I don't know, really don't want to get all down again IF the proposed endings DLC doesn't happen or makes things worse. Song in the sig says it all really.
I'll keep my fingers crossed

Tired, but hopeful. It is progress. I just hope they keep listening, realise that just clarifying the ending won't do and give us the other part of what we want.

My biggest concern isn't that the ending was so bad, but the fact that the creators of that ending fail to see the flaws in it. It doesn't bode well for future of the ME franchise. The response so far has given me little reason to consider spending more money on this franchise, let alone this label.
An acknowledgement that there are flaws would reassure me that they are working to correct the issue in future games. A blanket denial of the problem tells me that the problem will remain just that...a problem.

Just...disappointed. Not angry anymore, too tired and disillusioned. I will check out the EC DLC, but the flames of hope for anything that will make me smile or excited about the franchise again are pretty much extinguished. Meh.

I'm over it.
Bioware want to trash their reputation by releasing drivel that is their business. I got about 30 hours out of ME3 which is fair enough, I didn't particularly enjoy it but there are plenty of games on my shelf like that.

Intrigued. I haven't even finished the game yet and at present I don't have the enthusiasm to do so, mainly because I hate the idea of Ashley being forced to Adam and Eve it with Joker on some random and forsaken planet even if Shepard lives, and that event isn't looking very promising because I only have around 3,100 EMS with two priority missions to go.

I feel like i'm done with videogames. It's time for me to go back to novels or films where (most of the time) everything makes sense.

Basically, I don't know if I am going to buy Bioware anymore. I feel bad for other teams like the Dragon Age team or SWTOR team, yet I just don't want to feel like this ever again...
Bethesda now owns my money, but I'll give Bioware one last chance to hear us before I invest away.

I'm a'ight.
Resolved the endings at the moment with headcanon to my own satisfaction, might be pleasantly surprised by the extended cut, might not.
To be honest, I've got bills to pay, we're rushed at work, one of my relatives is sick... if I was THAT upset about a videogame, there'd be something wrong with my priorities.

Irritated at the continued "artistic integrity" crap. With a considerable dash of depression that my (previously) favorite developer could sink so low and that I wasted years of my life obsessing over a universe that ultimately gets destroyed. When I frst saw the endings I said that I'd probably put all my ME stuff into a box and then shove it into a closet. That's looking more and more likely.

Since yesterday I don't care anymore, no reason investing energy and emotions into this. There are more important things.
I went through all the stages one experiences after seeing the ending they intend to keep fixed.
Now I'm moving on and won't even bother replaying the last two levels to watch some additional free cinematics. Youtube's for that - despite the hard work they're about to put into them.
In order for me to care about them, they should've thought about that before presenting themselves the way they did in the last month. That's how nature works. Deal with it, Bioware.

I'm uncertain, they are being vague and I hope that the DLC is a trick up their sleeves. I don't want to believe that they are just ignoring us. But now I cant be sure.

Still extremely saddened by the ending we got. My hope is slowly diminishing too.
I said, at the beginning of this, that I'd give BioWare one chance. They still have it. They better make it count.

I was ok with the original ending, so for me the extended cut is just a nice bonus.
But considering it's still a while away before it's released, odds are I'll already have moved away to some other game before then. I can only replay these games so many times before I need to start working on my pile of other unplayed games

I really like the Mass Effect series regardless of the ending. About being hopeful about the Ext.Cut DLC? not really. The only hope i had for a great conclusion of the series would have been to rip out and replace that ending, not clarify it.
Can't see why they have the need to defend something which isn't worth defending, but if they wanna keep building concordes, fine. Starchild has gotta go.

I feel good. I don't like the ending but i want to think that bioware will come through with the summer dlc. They always have been great storytellers. I trust them but i will have a definitive opinion when i see it.
And for multiplayer users like me yeasterday we had great news.
Two good news for me in one week.

Done. I'm done with this. I'll stick around until the new DLC but unless they can pull a miracle, I'm gonna play my newly bought Dragon Age Origins and forget about ME or new Bioware titles.

I am disappointed but I will try out the Extended Cut DLC before I decide whether or not to buy anything from them ever again. For now, I still have a little hope that they will make the ending acceptable.
