Pretty sad, actually. Trying to pump myself up for Diablo 3 but it's not really working.

Also feeling stupid for being so affected by vidya.

I don't expect it to do anything. Staying cynical and pessimistic is the way i go with Bioware now.. and for a very forseeable future

Pretty bad when ever I think about the game. I just try to remember the good bits. I can't play after the quarien missions because its the slow walk to the end.
Just also disapointed in Bioware, I used to be a vocal supporter of them, making my friends buy their games, feel like a moron now.

I'm feeling hopeful, actually. I think it can make A LOT of difference, even if it's mostly cutscenes.

I also feel a bit weary of getting heartbroken again though...I don't want that to happen again :(

But mostly hopeful! :P

I really can't summon the strength to care since I doubt they'll do anything to fix how they completely threw away my favourite character.

Right now I'm finishing my renegade Shep playthrough in ME 2, periodically having fun with multiplayer, anticipating the free DLC we're getting and wondering in what ways the endings will be clarified. Also the retakers seem to be yelling a bit quieter so I think it is safe to return here for continual lurking and occasional posts without constant headaches and losing faith in humanity every 2-3 posts.

So yeah, I'm feeling pretty good right now.

I'm very sad, I haven't touched my games for a month but I just bought a new copy of Jade Empire (limited edition :D ) maybe that'll pump me to play it again

I also bought Wild arms and the 7th Saga, I'm scared about the last one because I heard it's incredibly hard :s

I think, when the Extended Cut is available i will no longer care and i'm done with BioWare because everytime in the Future i read "BioWare" it reminds me of killing a beloved Franchise and Universe (for me)

I'm angry because there's no indication nor reason to suspect that clarifying such a terrible and series-inconsistent ending is going to make it acceptable, but I've resigned myself to at least giving them the chance to pull an unexpected miracle on the matter. We'll see after that whether EA ever gets another cent from me.  I'm also frustrated by the fact that all we keep getting from Bioware is meaningless, two-faced PR speak.  A refusal to just tell us what they're doing and engage us as regular people is aggravating, to say the least.

I want to believe in them, but it's being dragged down by all this despair I'm feeling that I don't know if I'll be able to even care by the time the Endling DLC shows up.

I feel pretty ecstatctic actually. I want more content, regardless, because I love the Mass Effect world, and any opportunity to extend game time is fine by me, even if it is predominantly cutscenes and dialogue options. They are not rushing this out, they are spending time and additional resources to produce something pretty spectacular I think. Its rare for a company to change anything like this post release (Fallout 3 is oft quoted, but the ending was only changed because you couldnt play the DLC, not because of fan outrage).

There are loads of games, movies and book series that end terribly, and this weird outrage for ME3 is virtually unprecedented. This link has probably been posted a gazillion times before on this forum (just a guess, I havent seen it yet but Im sure its here somewhere), but its made me have a little more understanding towards the rather bizarre way people have been behaving this past month.

Still feeling jaded. Not really expecting much from Bioware at this point but remaining somewhat interested in what summer will bring...

Happy that they are doing it, it could have been worse, but also incredibly disappointed that they are still lying and treating fans with contempt.

Also disappointed that they did actually seriously think the ending was good! ...I still had a vague hope that they had something up their sleeve, but now I am coming to terms with the fact that Bioware just aren't very good anymore.

This.

From what I can see both pro enders and pro enders are still making illogicalarfuments in an attempt embarrass the gaming community as a whole and making sure we as fans and consumers crap on bioware. So it seems everyone feels ad if they did their part.

I am feeling optimistic, if we keep the pressure up I feel that they will cave and truly fix the endings and then be rewarded with a flood of cash and praise, leading to a happy ending for all. Yes I am being serious.

More and more despondent, actually. This 'artistic integrity' rubbish irritates me no end.

On one hand...

Hundreds if not thousands of people have put together logical and reasoned arguments as to why the ending is illogical, poorly written, inconsistent, and generally downright terrible.

On the other, we have BioWare and "professionals" declaring it is good because of "artistic integrity". Given the extended cut is going to be a series of epilogues, and do nothing to fix the abominable final ten minutes of the game...

Well, this may very well be the last time BioWare ever gets my money. Given I've buy-on-day-one fan of their games ever since I played the first Baldur's Gate... it's a disappointment to me.

Why does the concept of artistic integrity cause such anger in people? that is beyond illogical

I'm feeling quite good.

I've moved on, even though I rage a little bit whenever I talk about ME3 with friends... I'm also curious about the Extended Cut DLC.

I feel optimistic. The worst problem for me was the lack of closure, it just ended so sudden. Sure, the starkid was ****, but I hope BioWare can fix the worst, wich was the lack of closure.

Resigned but accepted this is the compromise that has been won. Now there's just nervousness and faint flickerings of optimism as to what this DLC will bring to the ending.

The only thing that the extended cut will do is cause another round of internet bashing and more calls for bioware to be dismantled.

the very notion that anyone of us regardless of what you feel should happen to the ending should feel anything should show to everyone that the gaming community still has light years of maturity to achieve before our pastime is even taken seriously by non-gamers
