Just in case you didn't see these, gamebanshee published an article that includes some of the tweets from Mike Laidlaw after the PAX panel. Obviously you can also see these on his twitter feed.
Here is the article: Link
Here is a copy paste of the tweet Q&A (some really interesting stuff in here!):
Q1: Will we be able to talk more freely with followers? As in: Not just when they have a quest?
A1:
Yes! Lots of interactions in DAII, but limited access. We will make
sure you can have "fireside chats"...or hugs...when you want.
Q2: Voiced Main Character? Yes/No?
A2:
Voiced. However, team's working on ways to improve
clarity/predictability of wheel. More details to come, will want
feedback on new bits
Q3, from Dawn of the Seeker Q&A: Will DotS have any info about Morrigan?
Q4: Nope, Morrigan's only for the games. Too personal for a fixed script. Can confirm there WILL be more of her story coming.
Q5, from Bioware Base: Enchantment?
A5: Enchantment!
Q6: Will we see more class-specific stuff? Mage only storylines, etc.
A6: Yes. In general, more exclusive content based on how you play / choices you make on all fronts.
A6b: Considering more story impact for specializations, for instance. (Blood Mage, especially.)

I know a lot of players wanted people running from their blood mages in fear.
After hearing our feedback for DA2, I really think DA3 will be amazing.

Yes this too, very good plan.
I think it will be too. You have to give them all credit for clarifying a few things in the past few days that clearly demonstrate they are listening to fan feedback. I don't think anyone can say they aren't anymore at least.

Sounds good to me, now all they need to do is confirm Cullen as a companion/LI and give us an Orlesian masquerade ball and I'll be one very happy camper LOL.
Oh yes! We definitely need Cullen as a companion/LI in DA3! And I have an inkling we may get Cassandra too.
A templar and seeker will be interesting after Asunder.
And if they're following the lead of a MAGE of all things, ooooh.

This does give some hope because some the ideas mentioned are part of my main gripe. I hope it's not another PR empty talks though.

This ... is so unexpected, I wonder if this is the same Mike Laidlaw who wouldn't go back 180 degree.

Fair enough to be a bit suspicious, but 'PR empty talks' tend to be fairly general in my experience. These are some pretty specific responses that it would be quite difficult to walk back from if they didn't follow through.

We'll they've confirmed that there will be more on Morrigan's story, which is something at least.

Bioware experimented with several things in DA2 that were different then in DAO. There were things I liked better; others I did not. But that's personal, you can not make every player happy on all points.
What I really appreciate is that BioWare takes their time for the people on the forum. Asking opinions and (trying) to answer questions.
For me personally; I'm
So I take it Sandal will return and hopefully his role in the story will increase. Can not help it; I like the guy.
Increased interaction with your companions on moments you choose is a big plus for me if that's going to happen. Some "Alistair moments" for example would really be nice
Edit. Oh, and some discussion with your companions about background/opinios/believes BIG plus if that could be possible.

I guess that's the best compromise for casual dialogue that doesn't screw with the super-cinematic path they're gunning for. It's a step up from DA2.

Well, we already knew both of those. What we're still waiting to hear is if there'll be a mute option for the PC, and if full sentences can be viewed ahead of selecting a paraphrase.

Nice. Interested to see how that works out. Hopefully getting the specs made available will also figure in to this.

Unless one of those "new bits" is a toggle to turn it off, I don't expect I'll be interested in the rest. Sigh.
Thanks for posting this, Ponendus.

It sounds like they are bringing the companion interaction from Origins back. None of that Zaaed treatment stuff but we will get dialogue that only pops up after a certain time too. So companion interaction seems like a mix between Origins and DA2.

As far as specilisations go , there should be a quest associated with them.
