hmm assuming that the definition of dissapointment is this:
disappointment=(expectations for the game beforehand)/(quality of the actual content)*100%
ME3 easily makes the number one place

Well it had a horrible three endings to choice from because they are all pointless. Now the game itself was not bad though, a few things like side missions are just scanning planets which pretty much make them a joke like the endings.

To me its still a fantastic game.

Its just the ending thats the most dissapointing.

Thread name should be changed to "most dissapointing ending", not "game".

2012 isn't over yet but ME3 did disappoint with the endings and some parts of the game but the ending DLC might fix it and if it does then i can't see ME3 being the most disappointing game

ME3 is a fantastic game up until the last 5 minutes. It is completely stupid to call it a disappointment given how much it does well. The ending DID NOT ruin the entire game, or the series as so many have outlandishly claimed.

I'm glad it didn't for you. It did for me. and I think it is far more outlandish for you, a stranger, to claim to know MY heart and mind.

Well, there are still some months left, so you can´t tell if it is the worst game 2012...

I personally think, it´s a really great game, which sadly suffers from the worst ending ever in video game history...

Nope. I enjoyed the game thoroughly. The end confused the crap out of me because it was needlessly 'artistic', but to me the game as a whole is NOT a disappointment.

Surpassed my expectations in all honesty, shame about the ending but it wasn't so bad that it would've prevented another playthrough.

In all honesty there is no reason to even ask that question because you know that the majority of replies are going to say yes.

If not for the ending I would say it was one of the greatest triumph's of 2012 but you don't get a Super Bowl Title when you blow the game in the 4th quarter... sorry.

Up until the introduction of Starchild the game was pretty much rock solid, loved it, even if planet scanning gets a little tedious when stretched over multiple play-through's.

So no, far from the most disappointing game of 2012. Also, we're in April, pretty sure something far more disappointing will come along for you.

Wow...just wow. Have anger issues? Intelligence isn't define by persepective or opinions of a game. My opinion of the game is it is a disappointing game which is not to be confused with "bad game". Read the first paragraph of the OP and not just the title which I am guessing that is all you did. Amazing how someone's post can tell a lot about there persepective of the world.;)

So...you disected my post into what you wanted it to be. Ok, ill do the same, but on a broader level. This entire forum is filled with ****ing, and whining, and crying about "broken promises", and "Bioware isn't listening", and blah, blah, blah. Excuse me for paraphrasing, or using a synonym to describe what was obviously being inferred. If my perspective of the world was shaped by the misery that permeates this place, id have offed myself a long time ago. Luckily, im aware that the world isn't such a miserable place as this forum, so im able to live happily, and with much contentment. Im here to chat with people who aren't completely anal, and have a perspective that isnt so narrow. They do exist here, though they are few and far between.

Your implied understanding of my perspective of the world based upon my take of someones opinion of a video game is hilarious, and pretentious on a whole different level.

Actually I think you're proving his point. It comes across, weather you mean it to or not, like your angry and contemptuous of those who don't agree with your opinion on the game.

Not the most disappointing game at all, Had great fun with it and kept me on glued to screen the whole way true, it's only the ending that was bit lacklustre.

Also, there is still a great many games/sequels coming this year, seeing this post I'm already fearing many of you will have much more disappointment wrought to them, There is a whole lot of potential for fails on the way. Better to learn a lesson out of all this then, it'll probably safe you a lot of grief.

It is disappointing. I can still remember when I was going to bed day before relase with the though that when I wake up, my pre-ordered game with the epic ending for the whole series will be waiting for me...or maybe that was a dream.

Considering the ending slapped a large part of the community on it's face.
Hell yes.

It is! If the game of the year title won't be up to their puppets (IGN) they won't win the GOTY award.

I think you can take "of 2012" out of the question and the answer would still be yes.

It's not the most dissapointing game BioWare has made, but it's a contender for the title of most dissapointing of the year. I wasn't that bugged by many of the issues mentioned over the past month. However, it's still too early to tell if it earns it. We shall see.

We can all agree on one thing: It has the most dissapointing ending of the year. There's little debate there.

Don't think ME3 is most disappointing game of 2012

But I am very sure, who is now the most hated videogame character of all times ;)

It would be a shame if it were to become the most disappointing game of 2012.

It's really quite good in my opinion - it's just that it's so awesome that it amplifies the letdown you get in the last ten minutes.
Strip that incoherent and badly fitting part out and you've got a shiny gem that is their best work I'd say.

We are in April?! Hahahah. I would say no anyway, ending was perhaps a bit lame, but the rest of the game was tons better than pretty much everything else out there
