A quick test showed that DA:O needs to run as administrator (elevate to administrator) in Vista so I assume W7 also. Doing this enabled all content I had downloaded and also now shows Warden's Keep which it previously was not showing as an option for buying odd enough. I'd try this before going through all those steps to delete and re-download stuff unless this does not solve your problem. Be aware that you will have to redo your settings and move any saves you have and such afterwards unless you were already running as an admin.

I'm running Vista x64 and downloaded the game through Steam, and had similar problems.

Jason's suggestions wouldn't work for me as I downloaded the game with Steam. Actually running the game with administrator privileges was what *finally* allowed the modules to install. Since you can't do that directly through Steam, if anyone is having this problem here's how you fix it:

1)Open up Explorer and browse to:

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age origins\\bin_ship

or

C:\\Program Files\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age origins\\bin_ship

(only one should exist).

2) Right click DAOrigins.exe and select "Run as administrator"

3) Let the modules install.

As an aside, I've been trying to get this game working for three hours now. I'm a fan of Bioware but this is a pretty epic fail. I work in IT and have for the past 4-5 years -- and I can't imagine how a typical end-user would be able to get through these kinds of problems.

Thanks Aderyn, that worked for me.
Things like this are why I play games on console almost exclusively now.  Made an exception for DA. *sigh*

This is still not working for me. It downloads again fine. Says one item is installing and hangs. Any thoughts. I also cannot play the game, because it says downloaded content installing and won't let me in. I was in the game initially, but since the product started installing, it kicked me out and I can't get back in. I thought about reinstalling, but wasn't sure if I would get my bonus materials again. Thanks for any assistance.

My initial install of Stone Prisoner failed, too. I didn't have enough space on the harddrive. Deleted some stuff and the DLC installed without a problem.

I have Steam too and that did not work for me. I have tried everything from clean installs to messing with admin settings, manual installs etc. The DLC is fully downloaded and the install fails everytime. I have deleted and redownloaded several times. This is such crap.

I have Vista x64 too. It use to work then I reformatted and now I can only get 3 of the 4 downloaded (won't install) and the last one says downloading but I swear I seen it downloaded before I restarted to see if it installed. Hard to believe this problem isn't fixed yet...

I seem to be having the same problems. the content is downloaded 100% but does not install. I tried the methods above that worked for others but for me that just forces it to redownload and not install.  I have V1.02 of the game installed and I noticed that the DLC mention it requires v 1 of the game.  how do I get it to DL the proper version of my DLC?  or is it possible that game version 1.02 is not compatable with the DLC that came with the game (bad move biware if true!!)
