Well, this took way longer than I expected. I could play forever with those colour settings...
So, in celebration of the newly annouced "extended endings", here's a little take on what I thought (hoped ?) would happen at the end of my Shepard's journey.
(click the picture to enlarge and view in all its [badly compressed] HD glory)
Thought I could manage to finish it before the PAX panel, but a little bit after is fine too, I guess. After all, maybe we can expect that sort of scene from the director's cut, now, don't we ? Uh, perhaps we don't, actually... But that's what fantacizing (and speculating) is for.
Anyway, I hope you all can find something to like about it - if you do, don't hesitate to leave a comment, or to share it around, or something :-)
:EDIT: (later response, but I'll also put it here so it doesn't get lost)
Wow, thanks for the response, everyone :-)
Actually, seeing
this, I was sort of toying with the idea of drawing some of the scenes
YOU'd like to see... I don't really know how I'd set that up yet, but is
that an idea some of you would be interested in (keep in mind my time
is not limitless, so I can't very well pop out another image every other
day, but if you're interested enough... no telling what might happen
:-p).
So, uh - just asking for now, but would anyone be for that
sort of "fun" ? It would be another sort of extended cut, if you want -
except it would be out before summer (well, for some at least), and
would be "your" ending scene, with "your" Shepard (if you send me a
picture for reference...) and "your" favorite characters... doing what
exactly, well, that's for you to say. But in the hypothesis something
like that happens, what would you like to see ?
That looks sick!

That looks like he is attacking Harbinger's willy.
Otherwise, quite cool.
And I thought I was the only one immature enough to see that.
Good artwork though.

Sounds pretty good, and the picture is fantastic.
I did a playthrough with the default FemShep, and one of my ideal (headcanon) scenarios was just a photo of Shepard and all the squadmates from the last 3 games who survived standing on a beach with a Reaper corpse lying in the sea behind them, with Shepard and Liara standing at the centre of the group with a little blue baby, maybe Garrus holding a beer with his arm around Tali, Wrex and Jacob present with their respective LIs, and then smaller photos of the non-survivors placed around it (in my case, Kaidan, Mordin, Thane and Legion), all sitting on Shep's desk on the Normandy.
My ending is beyond sappy happy, but I'd really like to see that.

I really wish we had a chance to fight Harby , though it's not a deal breaker for me if we don't get to fight him . I always imagined we'd go inside Harby's body and fight his core . Something like ..

And we get to see the face of the very first creatures that the Reapers reaped O.O

Come on Bioware just put him back in with a boss fight and at some point have the Rachni queen jump him.
That is very nice art by the way. Well done!

>Sir Adamus : Actually, this sounds fun. Since you're the first to take me up on that, I think I'll give it a go. Do you mind if I take a few liberties with your idea (for the sake of doing something I think I can do in what limited time have) ? I'll PM you a quick sketch, see if it fits with what you'd like to see, and if does, well - I'll see you in, uh, an undefined time, but hopefully not too much (probably about two weeks I hope ?) with something that'll hopefully somewhat fit that bill :-)
In the meantime, if there are other ideas, feel free, I'll read all of them and try my best to say if I can or not do something with them.
>Sad Dragon : you mean, what happens if that interrupt were to happen ? Well, I don't really know. She might pull the trigger, actually ? :-D In the face of a Reaper, doesn't that sound Paragon to you ? :-p

Sure, go ahead, I realise what I put down is probably a lot to work with. I had Shep in the hoodie for her casual outfit, so maybe have her in that instead of armor, I dunno. But yeah, great, I look forward to it

It does, though I kept imagining things like giving the Harbringer a hug to teach him about compassion or something like that XD

Or would that be an interrupt where you convince Harbinger to shoot himself ? Hey, it worked on the two others...

Or, if we have to stay in the context of the endings we got, his LI pulling him out of the rubble would work too. With EDI also there because y'know, then it would prove the Godchild was lying when he said the blast would destroy the synthetics in the Destroy ending, and so the Geth would also still be alive >_> (and of course the Normandy never got stranded God knows where)
I like my sappy version better though ^^ Headcanon's a wonderful thing.

THIS!!!
A thousand times this.
It wont happen, sadly it seems Bioware liked spitting on all the war stories we are told of the Rachni.
But imagine a bit of smack talk between Shep and Harbinger before some sort of fight thats impossible to win when all of a sudden the queen jumps him.
They fight abit both doing some damage but Harbinger starting to get the better of her when a swarm of her children jump him and they start tearing him apart. Shep still wounded makes his way upto the citedal and the scene with Ilusive man continues and then hopefully misses spacechild.

When you have nothing else at hand, run away. You don't see man-Shep standing still shooting at Harbinger when it was shooting up the Hammer forces.Pehesse wrote...

Sure, that's a way to see things. That's not the only one there is, though - it definitely wasn't the idea behind David and Goliath, for instance :-)
If Shep is too wounded to run, too pissed after losing everything.. who can say, in the face of incoming death, that she would not raise her weapon ? Actually, I think mine probably would've. After all, it's what I tried on the Starkid when I got the chance :-) I'm not saying you have to agree this is the best or only solution. I'm just presenting a way "my" Shepard could have gone about things - and maybe be shot in the process, but at least she tried something :-)

Paragon Interupt Shepard: You know, lets settle this honorably. We each take turns hitting one another until one can no longer stand. What do you say Harby 'ol chap?
Harbringer: You are grains of sand to a mountain. We will teach you of honor. You may go first.
Shepard: If you insist. OBRITAL STRIKE!!!
