Hey, I was wondering, will BIOWARE do something about the fact that its IMPOSSIBLE to get the best ending when only playing SP.
Because my Xbox is to far from any internet source. So I can't play multiplayer.
I find it incredible that a SINGLE PLAYER game can't be propaly finished without MP...
The only moment I go on Xbox live is to download DLC, and I put my xbox in the hallway to do so.
BIOWARE could you please at least allow us to play the MP maps alone and without internet connection.
BIOWARE, please for all the people that only play SP

That's a legit complaint to me. I don't like that they made the multi-player affect the single player campaign to that degree,

It will be really hard to play mp alone.

You need an internet connection to increase your Galactic Readiness, I believe.

Yeah, whatever happens in the extended cut, this is something that really needs to be addressed.

I know it is little comfort, but the endings don't change based on a wide number of variables...so you can always find it on youtube.

Easiest fix:
EITHER patch the Readiness to deafult to 60% instead of 50%
OR patch the various assets to each contribute an extra 10 points each or something.
Job done.

Yes because I know I'm not the only one in this situation, I feel like I have part of the game blocked.
Its a real shame.
I really want BIOWARE to take notice of this issue.
Its a problem even for people with Xboxlive
Just think later, when people wont be playing MP anymore.

Difficult but can be done on Bronze with Geth as the enemy. I don't understand why they had to connect to EA servers (other than to control it) because the stuff needed is all on your installed program and very little data is actually communicated between the 2.

Yeah.......the highest I've gotten with SP is still only 3800 or so anyway...............discounting MP which I don't play. Granted I skipped over a couple quests accidentally or let them slip by, but just a few. I can't even get close--plus I don't have an android phone or a smart phone at all.....

The problem is that they didn't consider the destroy/breathing ending to be the best. In their twisted view, the synthesis was "best". So when they said you could get best with no MP, that's what they meant.

Why would you even want the ''best'' ending? It's better to just put shepard out of his/her misery and kill him/her off. Also the ''best'' ending just leaves you asking what the hell happend to shepard.

You can get 4000 EMS without MP. In addition to doing all the side quests, having squad members from ME2 survive etc, unifying the Quarians and Geth etc, you must have killed the council (so your alliance fleet is larger), killed Wrex (so that you can betray the Krogan with the genophage cure, and get both the Salarian and Krogan war assets. If Wrex survives and you sabotage the genophage cure, he will find out).
There has been the presumption that in order to get the best ending, you needed to be full paragon, be the Galaxys most honest and just soldier. But in fact this is not the case at all! This is considerably more complex outcome-wise. Just because the choices you make seem fair and appropriate at the time, in the long run, they might indeed be the wrong ones. And the choices were made such a long time ago means that there is no simple restart. This is what Bioware were talking about when they said there will be consequences for your choices. So many people still dont understand the whole of the ME3 is the culmination of your choices from 1 and 2.

Yeah I agree with this. You should be able to get all of the endings without MP.
Also without buying DLC.

It would really depend on if they actually said "best" or "all". One is subjective, the other is not.
That being said, I definitely believe a patch giving you a minimum readiness score making it POSSIBLE (Not easy) to reach 4k points without MP should be added. I can't imagine it would be hard. They likely think DLC will fill the gap in short order, but again, that isn't all that great of a solution, either.
On the flip side, I am approaching the point (and I am sure a few have blown past it) where your N7 Spec ops (Multiplayer) benefits would be enough to give you 4000 Readiness points on their own. At some point I can choose to do whatever I like in SP and always have enough for every ending. Who needs a fleet when you have like 100 level 20 N7 characters!?!?!

They should fix it, it's a shame that you need multiplayer if you want to get a "good" ending in a singleplayer game. Besides, they promised that yo could get that ending without multiplayer. Mind you, another lie.

my maximum war asset is 7451 with me1+me2 imported with all side missions, paragon and so on.
I was thinking that they would make this on purpose. Either you're playing mp to get best endings or buy thier dlc to get more assets. But my max 50% ready fleet has 3725 count. So I don't think they can ever fill a gap of about 1300 war assets. The whole krogan force is about 825 if I'm correct.
So yes, EA did this on purpose to trap you in their crappy MP s***

It should be fixed. For now you can mod the save files for epicly large war assets,

Yep they need to patch that so you dont need to play online. Make it you can either get ready for the final mission by doing side quests or MP.

There really is no "best" ending. Shepard dies either way. Even with the breathing scene, as of now, the ending offers no explanation for Shepard so ... eh. In my mind, it really doesn't matter.

In all honesty it doesn't matter. Not until the EC anyway.

They don't care about SP gamers anymore. They're with the rest of the industry in wanting to for everyone online to make money off us.
