Seriously all this bashing and still insulting BioWare has to draw a line? It is really pathetic that fans are attacking BioWare still? After the fact they have heard the complaints from fans and want to make right by it by providing free content.
I look at this way, Bioware and any other game company needs to make money. They need to make money to pay their employees or have the fans think they are doing it for free? Most game designers and programmers have to buy food and pay for gas and pay the rent, mortgage etc. So the insults to BioWare and EA that they are looking just for the money is pretty much a understatement. If you haven't understood that concept than maybe you are just too young to play this game?
When you go to a restaurant and buy dinner, you don't think it's going to be free? When you go to the grocery store and buy food, You don't think they are going to let you walk out without paying for it, do you?
When you go to a car lot looking for a car, you don't think the owner is going to allow you to drive off without paying for it?
Now I get that fans are upset by the ending and pretty much have stated the same plotsholes over and over aod over. BioWare heard and trying to solve it the way We get news that they are releasing a extended cut DLC and the resurgenous Pack, yet no seems to be statisfied?
Yet more insults saying that Bioware is just making maps so they can charge us the reinforcement packs, If you haven't notice, but the game forces you to play to unlock the extra content. You also have the choiice of spending money to unlock the content too.
Nothing is being force on anybody? So I just don't get how people are uptight about this?
Actually it would be nice to state how old you are because honestly some of the maturity levels on here haven't even left puberty!
BioWare are working on releasing us content. They heard us. They don't need to pull out a script or leak every little thing they are working on to improve the ending? They actually don't really have to bother doing anything? Nothing!
Are BioWare fans this awful?

The weirdest thing is, it is a fantastic game IMO. Even the ending.
I know that isn't a very popular opinion to old on here, but that's what I feel. Looking forward to the extended cut!

I agree with a lot of what you are saying but I think I realised that threads like this do no good to anybody. I think people are still "grieving". It will get better.

Everyone here has already paid 60 bucks or more for their "dinner" so your analogies are ridiculous. Also, please don't call people children or question their age when you clearly don't grasp basic grammar, ending statements in question marks.

Nah, your wrong, everyone complaining has already experienced the extended cut DLC and it was not up to par for them. So they're complaining how it won't fix anything.

I took a stand to my real-world friends and said, "No, gamers aren't whiny or entitled. We just feel that the developer could have done a whole lot better, and hope to see them step up to the plate and try."
Then I came on these forums.
What a bunch of entitled whingers! "Free? It's a scam! Hold the line!" "You think you can buy our forgiveness, Bioware? I hate you more now!"
I can't believe I defended the fans and not the developer, now that I've seen what it's really like here.

I'm unhappy with a product. The people producing the product aren't doing me a favor by trying to fix my complains, they're doing themselves a favor by attempting to convince me to keep paying them for things they make later.
It's not a gift, not the sort given out of love. It's still a transaction of a sort. And they should be glad people are whining: it's better than them just shrugging and never buying their things again, right?

Some people are very dedicated fans and sometimes developers will make choices that their fanbase may not entirely agree with. What we see here isn't anything new, the Retake movement and such is just us expressing how we were disappointed and hoping for a change for the better.
Sure some people are "constructive" pointing out things Bioware could do better and some are just "doom-sayers" how Bioware and EA want nothing more then to hold us at gun point and steal our cash out of our wallets while churning out slightly above average games for profit. Everyone has different reactions to things.
If you go on the Halo forums you'll see people criticizing aspects of the story and gameplay. Same with the Fable forums, the Witcher forums, the Bethesda forums, etc. Everyone just wants to express how they feel about the game.

The issue of false advertising hasn't been addressed, the ending will simply be expanded upon... supposedly. We have no detail on what that means, if we calm down and wait till summer it could be garbage again and they'd be able to act confused.
Your falling into the trap with the packs as well, the idea is that it is a slot machine. You're putting coins into the slot machine, it is psychology based, these are pleasing things to our mind and it is designed in such a way that people that do put money into the slot machine will keep doing so, where they will make more money then they could have off of regular DLC purchases.
EA CEO has talked about this already, the plan of using psychology to make microtransactions that add up to more money being spent then on regular expansions/DLC would have. Becuase it seems like a small amount until it adds up.
So yes I'll still give my "constructive criticism" to Bioware, they screwed the pooch pretty badly.

Have you seen any other video game communities? Seriously? BSN is about as civil as it gets.
The situation really is more similar to having a great meal at a restaurant and then there's a turd inside your desert. Asking them to fix the situation or lose your business is not unreasonable. They made a mistake. It's their responsibility to either fix it, or face the consequences.
Are fans just supposed to accept it and buy all the DLC, spectre packs, and new games anyway?

No we've just played more than ME3, some of us have hundreds of hours invested in completely leveled characters that have done everything, not decided to pick up ME3 on a whim at WalMart. The fact that the end throws away all we've done makes us angry not to mention they completely botched some of the bigger decisions during the game (Rachni).
Go play the other games to thier fullest and you'll understand better.

Replace "fans" with "customers". We're not groupies, we're paying them money. We have the right to make demands or they'll be thrown to the wayside and lost like all the other failed companies throughout time. Period.

"There will be 16+ unique and greatly different endings."
"The end won't be like Lost or the Sopranos."
"The ending will not be an A, B, or C choice."
"The Rachni will have a huge part in ME3, not only in the course of the game, but the final battle against the Reapers."
...........Yeah, there's like 50 of those.
