I get distracted by all the awesome games in the background

Wasteland, Bard's Tale, Planescape, Baldur's Gate /drooooooooooooooooooooooool

Customizable UI great! WoW did a great job in that reguard good to see the team looking beound single player rpgs for inspiration.

Yeah he got quite a good collection there.
Especially Sacrifice, now thats helluva game mixing TPS with RTS.
Hımm, wonder if its on GOG (damn one more game...)

Random person: "As the kickstarter is reaching it's last few days, have you been contacted by any Big Ass Games companies that you've spoken to in the past about Wasteland 2? If so, are you at liberty to discuss what those conversations were like/about? "

Brian Fargo: "Of COURSE I have had some publishers call me to voice their interest in Wasteland and of me doing RPGs. I knew that was coming. I had one group that wanted to fund my marketing for a piece of the pie. I politely explained that we have an ARMY of fans who are better than any marketing campaign."

Chris Avellone: "As for me, I'd love to do: Ultima (both conventional and the spin-offs like Martian Dreams), Wizard's Crown/Eternal Dagger (love the skill-based character building). In terms of existing franchises: The Wire, Archer, X-Com RPG, Deus Ex, and System Shock.Wasteland was formerly one of the ones above, but then Brian contacted me, and made it a reality. Shiiiiit yeah"

Damn, Brian Fargo is so freaking awesome! Reminds me of Bussin's picture of Fargo slapping Todd Howard for ruining Fallout. He is definitely doing that to the big publishers.

Wasteland 2 has now passed the $2.5 million mark and there is little less than 48 hours left for the kickstarter guys.

Unigine CEO offers game engine to Wasteland 2 for free Fargo has yet to comment.

Yeah, I was definitely eyeballing the original soundtrack. Mark Morgan is such an awesome composer. His best work, in my opinion, was the Planescape: Torment soundtrack, so I hope he looks towards that soundtrack when making Wasteland: 2. If he is eyeballing Fallout, though, I hope we get a song similar to the Modoc theme; it was such a gorgeous piece of work. When I heard that song while taking the tour of Vault 21, I was almost floored.

Mark Morgan is one of my favorite composers, loved both Fallout and Planescape.
