I can't wait to play both of these games.

I'm thinking about playing it this weekend. Not sure if I want to do it, either.

Why isn't anybody talking about this game?
Except Hannibal of course - love your girl squad!
As for my experiences, so far I didn't get past creating my first Ranger squad. The whole damn weekend is occupied with work and other pesky things like visiting my parents (who I do love very much ^^), as is the better part of the next week. I'm really looking forward to spending some time with the game, and I'm glad I backed it back then. I heard complaints about the somewhat repetetive combat, guess I'll have to see how I feel about it.
I liked most of the character creation, and I really appreciate the fact that you can take pictures of your actual character for the portrait. I realized how much I hate to be forced to use pre-made pictures (altough they are often nice to look at by themselves) that usually at best only come somewhat close to what the character looks like when playing Divinity:OS.
I have to say though that as someone who spends a lot of time creating player characters in RPGs that allow for customisation I notice somehwat of a trend towards overburdening me in the last kickstarted games I played:
Shadowrun Returns: create one character, from a choice of races, with more or less unrestricted access to all the skills and abilities, and somewhat rudimentary means of visual customization
Me: Nice, one or two tries and I'll know what and who I want to play! ![]()
Divinity: Original Sin: create two characters from a choice of backgrounds, with more or less unrestricted access to a lot of skills and abilities, and a nice variety of options for visual customization
Me: Very nice, but I will spend sooo much time just trying around with different combinations, it'll be a while before I'll actually start playing the game. ![]()
Wasteland 2: create four characters, with more or less unrestricted access to all the skills and abilities, and a nice variety of options for visual customization (you are also welcome to write down each character's individual background in form of a short story)
Me: ![]()

Did you forget where you were ? Nobody even replied to that awesome new Torment vid you posted.
Don't think you can bang party members in this. I'd suggest another forum more geared towards proper cRPGs discussion.
****ing Honey Badgers, tbh.

Put some screenshots so I can confirm that this game exists!

Need more people to add their squads here.

I hear you. But nice of you to notice the Torment vid. I was rather excited about it. A 'gameplay' teaser for a cRPG without any combat shown, how awesome is that?

I'll get to it asap! Which in reality likely means around next weekend or so... ![]()
I was just getting ready to install Fallout 3 for another play through until I found this thread.
Still haven't really played, but I'm working towards having my team ready for it. ![]()
So far these two guys are guaranteed to be on my first squad:
Smiley - survivalist and leader, uses assault rifles and blunt melee weapons
Loyd Arneson - medic and tech guy, uses submachine guns
Then we have these three ladies competing for the final two positions on the team:
Lauren Dryleaves - awesome perception, pro sniper
Alex - picks locks, is great with handguns and blades
Karma - super-charming, good at handling animals and... kind of a doctor
Still not sure who's going to make it, but I won't have a chance to even start the game for two days now, so I have time to think it through. Chances are I'll be restarting after a while during my first game for some reason anyways, that's what usually happens.
And not only because I learned more about the game mechanics and such: I replayed something between 5-6 hours of DA:O once because I realized too late that my character's eye colour was not quite what I wanted. Similar things happened in Mass Effect and other games. ^^

Huh, that sucks, I was too late to save the fortune teller machine at the t*tty bar. Darn robots.
