Every now and then when I start up DA:O from games, it goes to black
screen as normal but then freezes and doesn't move on to that flashing
red&white morrigan/dragon load screen. It completely freezes and
doesn't let me return to PS3 menu either so I have to turn power off
and back on which I'm assuming won't be good thing for the console in
long run. I have tried to hold restart button for 6 seconds which
results with restart sound but doesn't actually restart. It doesnt let
me eject the disk either. Only have had this happen with DA:O.



Anyone else having this or should I be more worried and turn to PS3 console forums?

No my problem is a bit worse. The game isn't SHOWING UP ON MY GAME MENU! someone please help me and the one above, This is very frustrating. I'm taking the game back Saturday if it doesn't work soon.

It might be your disc... In both cases, I would check to see if your discs are scratched or something.
