In my first game I went with Morrigan. After giving her Flemeth's Real Grimoire she then spurns me and will only kiss after that. Meanwhile, Lel is at 100% and doesn't say a word about romance, I must have used the friend line at some point without realising.



So, 2nd go. As soon as we get to the camp, I get stuck into Lel, get her to 100% with the aid of the flower at redcliffe abd a few gifts like the shoes from the wandering merchant. Everything is fine and she does the 'watching you sleep routine'.



I then start on Morrigan and with the aid of a few necklaces (she really is a gold digger!!) she is up to 90% and wants some fun.



She then gives me the ring to find me with +2 will power. When I speak to her next I am toppled, she does the jealous bit on me, which considering she is so aloof was a bit of a surprise. I figured there would be a dialogue along the lines of 'lets keep this a secret from Lel' as Morrigan would find the whole thing entertaining which would apeal to her non caring side.



Anyway, even if that was the case, Lel has sharp eyes and spots you with Morrigan and challenges you on the next time you speak to her after you bonked Morrigan, so you have to chose anyway, no creeping around in the dead of night shagging two birds in this camp hehe!



In the end I went with Lel as I know Morrigan spurns you and I get to bonk Morr one time again anyway and I am keen to see what happens at the end game with Lel, doing the dark ritual or not, whether she finds out about it and whether we live happily ever after or she buggers off to play with an urn.

No!  And even during the love scenes they are clearly NOT in a tent!  ....unless "tent" is a eupemism.

All the sex scenes take place just outside of Morrigan's tent.  In fact, if you pay attention as the second shot is fading out during Zevran's sex scene, you'll see Morrigan's feet.  She's standing there watching you have sex in her tent.

Yeah you got to be careful with that dialog.  That means she is starting the romance, on my female PC i was ready for it and prepared to reject her as delicately as I could.  No problems since then.

I couldn't get Lel the first time either .

I just assume she's a huge lesbian. I think my dwarf female will have better luck.

As to love triangles, I'm really annoyed with Morrigan. Even though she says she doesn't care if we keep this casual and meaningless, she still gets angry if you sleep with other people. Jeez, for someone who's always harping about freedom and going against expectations, she seems pretty conservative when it comes to love. <_<

That is too funny. I never paid attention to it before. I feel bad for her having to watch all that though.

Exactly, would have been so much more fun if she had stayed in keeping with her carefree wild side.

But then, its in keeping with what we know 99.9% of the time, once you penetrate a woman, the love process starts and she is compelled to get jealous of another woman, it is only love in another way! Its ok for her to break it off for no reason whenever she feels like though while your holding a rock hard throbbing knob and end up looking for the nearest tree stump!

She doesn't seem to mind! In fact in my Dalish elf (male) runthrough, she kept coming on to me even though I was romancing Zevran.

Yeah Leliana is juuuust a tad creepy and clingy for my tastes.  She's downright adorable for the most part.  My husband romanced her with his dwarf...(that was an odd sentence)  and after the love scene he got all freaked out when she was "watching him sleep" and telling him about how his "eyelashes flutter" when he dreams.  As my husband said  "this is way too close to reality with this chick."   She seems the type to tell you you "smell like home" or that she wants to eat you "so you can always be inside of me" or something.

Yea... who would think she will be unhappy when the first person she ever loved sleeps with someone else?

Lel is certainly an odd one. Overall I found her romance option to be almost as uninteresting as Zevran's plus she's just kind of creepy. Watching her sing was pretty hilarious. I almost broke it off with her several times with my human noble but I just kept telling her she was the best thing that ever happened to me until I maneuvered an engagement with Anora.

Oh, it was also hilarious when I beheaded her during the Reaver unlock quest. Only was getting the unlock though so it was F9 right after and back on with her head.

I don't get how that situation happens at all. I had no problems getting only one romance while keeping everyone's approval at 100. In my experience, when Morrigan thanks you for killing Flemeth and starts the dialogue about how odd it was to be friends with a man, if you tell her you just want to be friends at that point, she never brings up the romance line again. Similarly for Leliana, though after Marjolaine there was a dialogue option that obviously started the romance, I could avoid it just by not selecting that option.

I've found her to be one of the most charming romances I've ever had in a CRPG.

I got the same thing, even after trying to let her down when playing a female PC. I had already been breaking my dear Alistair in for most of the game, then suddenly, this whole thing out of the blue where she gets all pissed off about me lying to her...I'm like...where the hell did that come from"". It freaked me out, and big approval lose. Made my poor nervous PC go dig through the inventory and say ""here, look: SHOES! Yes, Nice shoes...now why dont you go to the otherside of camp and admire them while I go make sure you haven't killed Alistair in a fit of disturbing jealousy....""

i think the romance is bugged as i turned down Leliana by saying i want to be friends then later i turned her down again saying i had someone already in my life and then she freaks out that i spend too much time with Alistair and then i lose approval with her then after getting it higher again (if i remember right) she tells me the stars are out so i tell her to go help alister make the supper

I'm convinced my camp is full of stalkers. Seriously, walking through that side of camp goes something like:



Zevran: "Can I stare at you luridly and invite you to my tent?"

NO

Zevran: "What about now?"

Uh, what part of no did you miss?

Leliana: "Your hair is nice."

Great, I hate my hair, blah blah.

Leliana: "I really like you."

As a FRIEND.

Oghren: "ASSCHABS!!!"

... wtf?

Leliana: "Want to share my tent?"

NO.

Alistair: "I noticed you're spending a lot of time with Zevran and Leliana..."

Would you rather I spend it with Morrigan? Because at least I know she'll talk coherantly and not want in my pants...



That being said, I actually giggle my butt of when it happens.
