Ive seen a few threads about people saving credits for resurgence. And i mean alot of credits. Are the reinforcement packs going to be really expensive or are people just saving so they can buy alot of them? I would like to know so i can start saving because i think im only sitting on like 50,000 credits or something like that.
Why are people saving credits for resurgence?

I see them being just as pricey as Veteran packs, if not more. You can't forget that they're making income on people buying packs with points. Even though the DLC is free, they still can make some profit off of it.

I thought that the new characters/guns would just be put in to the normal packs, and I wanna get one. at 490,000 credits now, so hopefully I'll grab a new character from the specter packs on Tuesday.

I'm still confused on if we are going to have to buy special packs or if there is just going to be a space magic one pack to unlock all the stuff once, and then those items will be filtered in the other packs for higher levels on the weapons and the armor customs on characters.

I'm guessing we'll get one freebie pack as a teaser for the new stuff and have to get the rest in regular packs.

EDIT: And on topic, I am saving up a lot of money so I can buy packs and unlock all characters and weapons ASAP.
As it will unlock the same way our current characters and current weapons did, and does, I want to be able to buy as many packs as possible when it is time!

Reinforcement Packs do mean any form of pack, though if we are to be believing the leaked picture which was right about the classes in the first place, they're all gold cards which means Spectre is our best shot at them.
Either way I'm spending these credits on Spectre Packs. The difference is spending them now for roughly 20% more gold cards, or spending them on Tuesday for new characters and weapons.

I'm hoping there will be one "free" pack like a starter pack guaranteed to have a new card, and the rest will have to be unlocked the old fashioned way (the Smith, Barney way). That's why I'm saving credits

It's not speculation, it is fact. The new items will be gold in rarity.

Personally I'm expecting next week's store special to be the Resurgence Pack which costs either 33k or 60k, and contains at least 1 of the new DLC characters or weapons.
Either way I'll by ready with a ton of credits to throw at whatever I have to do to my new unlocks.

50k credits won't buy you a Spectre pack. Stockpiling my credits (currently at 1.2 million) ensures that I get at least one of the characters. Given my luck I'll get 31 Salarian Infiltrators before seeing a Geth card, but at least I've got credits to keep buying packs.

Reinforcement packs are just a general term for Recruit/Vet/Spectre packs, so you can probably count on them being added to the packs we have now. And yes, they are confirmed to be gold, so Spectre's your best bet.
I've also heard some talk about there being a new pack that contains Resurgence stuff only, but it can only be bought with IRL money. Nothing is confirmed yet though.

In no way is that a "worst business model ever" it's actually a very intelligent idea. Don't want to spend money? You don't have to. Stop whining and go earn it. Want to spend money? K have fun.
