I don't see the point in saving the credits for a shopping spree. If they add the new content in with the old then the more old content you have not unlocked, the smaller the chance of getting new content. So you may as well get all your weapons to X and attachments to V. This will increase your chance of getting new stuff when it comes out.

Reinforcement packs are just a general term for Recruit/Vet/Spectre packs, so you can probably count on them being added to the packs we have now. And yes, they are confirmed to be gold, so Spectre's your best bet.

I've also heard some talk about there being a new pack that contains Resurgence stuff only, but it can only be bought with IRL money. Nothing is confirmed yet though.

That's the worst business model ever. Having to bend to angry fans once again is not on BioWare's to-do list these days, I assure you.

Worst business model or not, it could be the reason why it's free(if said rumor is true). No complaints here.

Simply put, we don't know what their rarity will be, or exactly what packs they'll be in, and anyone who says otherwise is either misinformed or lying.

They were gold in a leaked screenshot, but that screenshot was of a development test pack that unlocked all the new characters at once. Obviously, we're not going to be able to buy that, and so it also doesn't tell us for certain the characters will actually be gold.

Now, could they be gold? Sure, and that would be my personal guess based on what they are and the fact that BW said they "won't be insanely rare"... but it's only a guess, no more, no less. Maybe some will be silver, who knows.

Uhm, that would actually make the DLC not really free...? I don't think BW is that stupid and suicidal, thankfully.

No, it's still free. You only pay if you want to.

In no way is that a "worst business model ever" it's actually a very intelligent idea. Don't want to spend money? You don't have to. Stop whining and go earn it. Want to spend money? K have fun.

Doing it with a promised free DLC IS a bad idea.

Also, Bioware earns a  LOT of money from people buying BW points already. They don't need to make special packs.

That would only ****** off more people.

If you have most rares or rares you dont need it's best to save. Considering I only get character cards now..I will get character cards I want, perhaps, Tuesday.

KROGAN VANGUARD

And I thought it was bad enough with vanguards zipping across the map to steal the kill of the banshee i solo-knocked down to 1 health bar as well as the stupid krogans standing in my sights and eating my bullets like he was a hungry hippo....now I get to deal with a hybrid of that?  I think I'm going to go with that trend of kicking people....

Yeah, definitely not looking forward to it...

So I can finally get the Geth Infiltrator...

Why the hell else?!?!?!??!?

Unless I have enough to max out all 30 guns or whatever, and get 30 class cards... I am not satisfied. I must be able to max them out on the first day! :pinched:

I won't be saving up for the Resurgence Pack because I think it's better to take advantage of Premium Spectre Packs while they last. That way by the time Tuesday rolls around, you have most rare weapons to X and they won't pop up, allowing for a better chance to get/max dlc weapons and possibly a better chance for new character cards (because so many weapons are removed from the table).

I want to save, but I also don't want to waste the Premiun packs. Getting 3+ goods in a pack is too good.

It's not speculation, it is fact. The new items will be gold in rarity.

Are the reinforcement packs going to be really expensive or are people just saving so they can buy alot of them?

"Reinforcement packs" is a general term for all the packs in the store including the ones we already buy.

I doubt they will be expensive, they might just be rolled into the ones that alreday exist.  People are probably just saving credits because they want to acquire the new classes and weapons more quickly.
