I've bought... 12 Premium spectre packs I believe?

I've unlocked Krogan Sentinel x2, Krogan Soldier x2, Quarian Engineer x3 (which has now given me access to all classes in the game), Carnifex x2, Black Widow, and the Scorpion.

I am rather pleased.

Out of curiosity, do they give better stuff when people spend real money? I know everyone says it is random, but to feed the gambling urge, they would spike the packs that are bought with real money.

Anyone ever compare?

I got an N7 Hurricane in my Commendation Pack. I did all kinds of testing on it, and could not for the life of me figure out even one way in which it would be useful. Even after learning to compensate for the recoil and using a vanguard to hit with all of the bullets at point blank range, it still didn't have as much effect as just using a Carnifex at that range, let alone ANY OTHER RANGE.

N7 Hurricane makes me sad

Hurricane is extremely good for a Turian soldier or sentinel, especially if you know how to handle recoil. Better than basically every shotgun in the game at close quarters. With Marksman I can take down a Geth Prime on Gold in something like 7 seconds with a Hurricane, at point blank range.

Only gun I'd recommend over it for DPS is the Hornet, because of the increased range performance and almost as high DPS.

The N7 Eagle on the other hand is pretty much useless.

You know, most people will say "lol ur just a noob RNG blah blah EA is my god,"
 but I think you're right to suspect. In fact, it's pretty obvious that the only reason EA is using this variable ratio rewards system with card packs instead of a more reliable and proven variable interval thing (like WoW does) is that it gives them the ability to manipulate or control the chances of getting good items as they please. They've probably had Bioware screw with the numbers over the past few days to collect data on what rarity makes people most likely to buy the packs.

I usually have that type of luck...I've bought 4 total and from #2 and 3 got a Javelin I and Black Widow I.

I've been getting everything except the things i want from them, i'm constantly getting korogan sentinel cards for some reason. I've had a lot more luck with regular spectra packs.

I got my Geth Shotgun from level 6 to level 10, and a black widow and the other Krogan that isn't a soldier to complete my full set of characters.

I've got a krogan flipping sentinel in the last two packs (ok I also got widow II, cobra upgrade, and a few other bits I can't remember).

In fact I've got so many krogan sentinels, the class has levelled from 1 to 14 without me even having played it!

I'm actually doing okay on the last three, knock on wood. Before all this started I didn't have either a Carnifex or a Widow, and I've gotten each to two in the last three packs. No ultra-rares yet, in 8 or 9 packs. I don't run anything but bronze and the occasional silver, and I don't purchase points, so it's going to take me months to level everything, but I feel like the pack's been good for me.

(My reward for saying that will be all character cards until Tuesday)

Just got a Paladin V.

Think this is my 5th or 6th N7 weapon since the premium packs started.
I was just on a huge losing streak though.
So many character cards that it made my N7 level go up like 20 levels.

The last 3 Premium Spectre Packs....two of them had 2 of the same character cards. I think I'm going to wait about a month - I'd rather have medi-gels or rockets than character cards. It's getting very frustrating for me. It would have been much more worth it to just buy the regular packs, then I would only have 1 card. I hope they bring back the equipment packs, at least they will have something I use.

I'm getting skimped on the cobra missiles. I also saved up my money for two days, and bought 13 premium spectre packs. I got my black widow to level 3 and that's it. Every premium spectre pack I've bought sense has had nothing but 2 gold character experience cards. I think the premium spectre packs are for ppl who still have stuff to unlock. The only gun I don't have is the raptor(until Tuesday). I have 17 guns now at lvl X and the premium spectre packs aren't doing anything for me at all. I think I'll save my money up for the next 3 days so I can unlock the goodies on Tuesday.

(Only do silver so i don't get credits as fast as the gold ones...:| )

Got 1 N7 weapon - Javelin.
Rest were useless things.

Am really happy with getting the javalin though, so i can't really complain
