After I completed the circle of mages tower this guy showed up in my camp along with a "community chest". What's that chest all about cuz it is completely unresponsive for me. I can highlight it, and the cursor tip say I can open it, but when I try -- nuthin.

You put runes and herbs for the mages and elves. It is to help them help you in the coming battles.

You can also put sapphires in it for the dwarven forces

Runes for Mages

Herbs and Metal Shards for Elves

Gems for Dwarves

Gold for Redcliff Soldiers



I had assumed that the more you put in, the stronger your army at the end would be, however, I honestly didn't notice a difference, and I made sure to save -all- my runes, gems, etc to make sure I put them in the boxes at the end. *shrug*
