First of all, this isn't one of those annoying "I prefer (Meer/Hale), therefore (Meer/Hale)Shep is the REAL Shepard and (Hale/Meer)Shep is an impostor!" threads. Those are bad threads and if you ever seriously posted anything like what's in those quotation marks you should feel bad about it.

No, the question I would like to put foward is: If Commader Shepard had multiple voice options to choose from, who would you like to see voicing Shep? Whose dulcet tones would you most like to hear emerging from your customised Shepard's lips?

I personally would like Richard Dean Anderson for my main Shepard. His role as Jack O'neill was the exact type of personality, the experienced soldier who is not really impressed by melodramatics and can be more than a little snarky and insolent, that I was looking to craft when I was creating my first Shepard.

Another one is Patrick Stewart. He would work well for the pure paragon, very military Shepards. And the man has a wonderful voice that I would listen to an audiobook of the phonebook for.

Crispin Freeman on a Renegade Adept. Oh yes. There would need to be a lot of maniacal laughter added to the script. Alucard/Itachi!Shep is best shep.

Gilbert Gotfried would also be acceptable.

I'm going to have to go with an actor named Mark Meer for male Shepard. He's an improv actor based in Edmonton and he's pretty awesome.

For female Shepard, I'd say Jo Wyatt.

I want to hear from Vanderloo himself. But Idk, I'm used to Meer's voice now. Someone else's would make the game feel different for me. I don't even feel right using customized Shep with Sheploo face. XD

For a male Shep: Kurt Russell for Renegade/indifferent. Michael Wincott for a paragon Shep.
For a FemShep: Claudia Black for Renegade (yeah I know she is in ME 3 but she can play a different pitch for Shep) Laura Bailey for a paragon Shep.
I also think that Natasha Little would make a very good snarky/Renegade FemShep.  She was great as the female Sith Warrior in The Old Republic.
