I have no idea how you play it. But Krogan sentinel is a tank, people are convinced I recorded this on Bronze.
Bioware doesn't need to fix it, you are the one who need to fix how he plays with it.
I think this discussion is mostly about Gold, not Silver.
I saw your solo vid on gold, and I'm actually using your build with my krogan soldier, do you think they need to be fixed even on gold?

Silver is not a problem.

Fixed is relative. I tend to take classes as they are. Would I have something against being immune to staggers? No, but I don't think it will happen. As I said, with the Krogan Vanguard coming, things could get interesting.

That was my last game on Gold using my Krogan Soldier with Claymore. Now don't take this as me bragging about elite skills because I'm not a great player, perhaps very good, but not great. All it takes to do well in Gold with the Krogan is coming to terms with their weaknesses and playing around them. I do a lot of melee with the Krogan but thinking you can charge into a group of enemies and smash all their skulls and walk out is a mistake. Used correctly, Krogans are as beastly as their reputation would suggest.
Cool story, bro... pics or it didn't happen. There seem to be tons of super awesome krogan gold players here on the forums yet strangely I have yet to meet even a single krogan player on gold who doesn't score dead last.
Geth i have to be at the top of my game or i'm understandbly going to get kicked if we lose.

How does the addition of the Krogan Vanguard change the opinion of balance on the Sentinel and soldier?
If anything the Krogan vanguard will like you said make them obsolete and force Bioware to give them a buff not soon after....Or they could give the Krogan a nerf which i have a bad feeling would happen unjustly.

I guess what I am saying is it is hard to make a judgement on all this UNTIL we know how the Krogan Vanguard plays. I suspect he will not be OP but much more durable than the current Krogan, having a low CD even with heavy shotguns, barrier (which can also be detonated as well as enhancing charge damage). It will likely be a better Krogan. Not sure how they could then buff the others? give them more weapon damage? maybe a shotgun damage boost in addition to a weapon damage boost? The Vanguard will decide a lot.

Friggen awesome. I'll try that one if I get my hands on a Krogan Sentinel card. However, it doesn't seem TOO fair to be forced to use a Falcon for it. That gun is pretty annoying when you're not host. Would be nice if Krogans get a stagger boost with weapons(and maybe be resistant or immune to staggers FFS, as I find it hard to believe it's easy to stagger a 1 ton creature). I do try the same theory on my Krogan Soldier using Carnage to stagger enemies.
The video was good help as I see you missing horribly when trying to power melee at point blank range, which was what I was doing all the time. I would always either go to the left or right of my target, taking my swing completely past them. Kind of curious if it's as effective on the console due to the different controls.

Turians can't roll but the camera doesn't sway all over the place when they make a running turn nearly as much as it does for the Krogan, much more responsive. I can round corners and not crash or get stuck.
Turians don't get stun locked over every little thing like Krogans do.
Turian Sentinel's Warp and Overload beat Krogan Sentinel's Incinerate, especially since I did not waste points in TA other than the six I had to dump there. Turian Sentinel's stability enhancement made him out perform the Krogan with every weapon I tried.
Turian Soldier has stability and high rate of fire and high accuracy which was even better than Turian Sentinel in terms of weapon performance. Revenant was like a turret, saying hello to everybody.
I tried claymore, crusader, falcon, and revenant. Turians were better with weapons than Krogans were. Falcon and Revenant were the best. Claymore was the worst. Having to reload after every shot killed it.
I didn't melee much but the Turians survived that more often too.
I was able to finish gold matches with the Krogan by camping the sweet spot with my team. But, melee was next to impossible and his performance was less than the Turians'.
Krogans are broken.

What's the matter? You can't handle the facts so you have to make it personal?
The fact is that Turians have weapon enhancements that Krogans don't so Turians are going to be better at weapons than Krogans. I aready spelled it all out so, I'll leave you to think about it.

Turian's better abilities (prox mine, warp/overload, weapon stability) balance out their lower shield/hp while having the same mobility issues.nicethugbert wrote...

Getting caught by a Hunter in gold is also devastating for a Turian, unless he can stun them in time with overload or mine.

If you spec your krogan for melee then you have just abou the same HP and Shields as a Turian who maxes his HP and shields.
But the Turian is behind cover with better powers and the Krogan is out in the open getting stun locked and shreaded.
And, no, Turians do not have the same mobility issues. True, they can't roll, except between two points of close cover. But the camera follows them better, they can make tigher turns, and they don't fill half the screen with their fat hump.

I don't think Korgan need to be 'fixed' but I would adore some kind of stun-resistance for them... or at least more of it if its there. Geth Auto-stun with everything but trooper GPR fire. Then your stuck and get re-stunned mid-stun animation. Kinda awkward after awhile to sit there watching it, and irritating but oh well.

Also if you want to do Krogan Melee check your lobby and see if you have support. If you don't then consider asking ppl to bring a Quarian, someone with Overload x3, an Asari with stasis, or Decoy. How are you going to go melee without someone to CC or divert attention from you?

The camera does not track movement well when making turns. That's the way it was in ME2, and the way it is in ME3. But, the camera follows the weapon cross hairs perfectly. But, you don't use weapon crosshairs to aim a melee, you use movement. So you can't aim melee as you do a weapon.
If you can't stand out in the open then you can't melee, except for grab.

I find the reapers genrally easier than cerebrus. Krogan don't really have any options for serious damage against the mech unless you equip the widow or have the level 5 AP mod on the pistol. and although phantom insta kills are a rarity for me they do happen once in a blue moon. not to mention that damned turret annd Guardians.
With the reapers i feel like a god. Incinerate aoe takes down ravagers/swarmers/brutes like nothing and is decent against banshee armor. Tech armor detonation takes down husk and makes meleeing cannibals and marauders a breeze in groups of up to 3.
The only time i stop having fun is when in the last few waves of banshee spam i get stuck on cover or an object while trying to sprint away and she catches me
