 And you can tell that the Dark Energy plotline was just... dropped. I mean, they could've still gone with it, even without Karpyshyn. But there are numerous references to Dark Energy in ME2, with Tali's recruitment mission, Parasini mentioning the rising interest in it even mentioning how it's used by Object Rho, etc...
It was set up to be more established then the Deus Ex ending was, that's for sure, as well as it would've given Arrival more of a point. Smh BioWare, just because a guy leaves does not mean you change the direction of the series.
