Easy peasy. I've done it quite a few times before (this is just my first time recording) and can do it again any time (and can do it with a lot more classes too, and have soloed all factions).

Sorry for the bad quality, but you guys said you wanted it (in another thread discussion) and didn't care about the quality, sooo... yeah.

If anyone has any advice on how to (affordably) up the quality, and if there's interest, I'll upload more videos with better quality, as well as advice on how to play each class, both solo and on teams.

Speaking of teams, I'm always looking for more good teammates on XBL, SN OneWinged4ngel.

Character used is 6/6/0/6/6 with an emphasis on weapon damage bonuses.

DVD recorder? Set to record the channel used by the XB then copy to your PC? That's the cheapest I can think of, unless you don't have a DVD recorder.

I don't have a DVD recorder.  I watch DVDs on my xbox 360 and I watch Blu-Ray discs on my PS3.

Yes, but I can do a run without equipment if you'd like.  It just takes longer and increases the chance of failure a bit if I get unlucky with an objective wave.

Human vanguards are even better, at least against the other two factions.  I've soloed all 3 factions as the Human Vanguard, but only Cerberus as the Asari.  Moreover, human vanguards benefit more from playing with teams than Asari Vanguards do, since they are incredible crowd control tanks that can instantly relocate to any problem spot on the map, and are continuous triggers for all 4 types of combo explosions.

Contrary to popular belief, I maintain that a properly played human vanguard is one of the best team players in the game.

I have a high end gaming laptop, a PS3, an Xbox 360, a Wii, and a cable box.  That's all I've got to work with.  The video was recorded with the laptop's built-in webcam.

It's insane to kick an asari vanguard for not being "gold viable" especially if you are playing against Cerberus, because they are definitely one of the best classes to use against that faction.  The video should demonstrate how easily they brutalize swarms of Phantoms.  They go through them like footsoldiers and even the cases where the game throws 5 at you at a time are no problem at all.  The only exception was that one time in the video where it glitched and it somehow made me charge the turret BEHIND the phantom when the phantom was highlighted, and the phantom (now stasis resistant) had time to recharge its shields while I biotic-dodged away from the whole SNAFU.  And since I was on the clock for a hacking circle mission, and there were turrets all over limiting my mobility, I had to waste a missile to be safe.  Bleh.

Anyways, I prefer the asari vanguard to the asari adept against Cerberus, simply because I find Biotic Charge (and the extra investment in weapon damage bonuses) to be more useful than Warp/Throw (e.g. extra damage against Atlasses).  I just love the extra tactical mobility, crowd control, and survivability that Biotic Charge brings, and you can still set off your own biotic combos against everything in Cerberus except Atlasses.  Solo, you can just ignore Atlasses until they're the last things left and whittle them down.  As a team, the ubiquitous Salarian Infiltrator will take them out in a few seconds anyways while you're out slaughtering the entire rest of the enemy army, inlcuding taking out Phantoms as efficiently as a good Black Widow SI takes out Centurions.

It's a Carnifex X, and in case you can't tell because of the quality, almost every shot is a headshot.  That's where most of the damage is coming from.

How exactly does your asari adept bring down groups of banshees on gold? I'm curious because during my last few attempts to play as a vanguard (once as an asari, and the rest as a drell) I found that they are the one class where I feel that I can't do anything against them except patiently pistol spam for a couple hours. Of course this is assuming you have to solo the banshees which has happened to me quite often lately.

I've not been speccing into bubble for my Vanguard, in an attempt to maximize lift grenade damage, but I'm wondering what route you took.

Have you tried lift grenades yet? I see you skipped them entirely. I skipped some fitness to get them and man do I love them. Nothing clears a crowd like throwing in a lift grenade then charging.
