Sadly the Tuesday patch doesn't fix any of the MP bugs (Charge desync, ULM, etc.)

No complaining about stuff that happens on my birthday.

Just it being the day of my birth should be plenty to complain about ;)

Wow. What are they even doing in their head quarters right now, I wonder?

The multiplayer problems are probably much more complicated, so they will take more time to fix.

None of you are game developers, so dont all start complaining about something you know nothing about

That link confirmed Reinforcement Packs as the primary way to attaining the new DLC unlocks.

They stated that they had a fix for the Reave sound bug nearly a month ago, so I don't understand why it wouldn't be in the patch.  Still just doesn't compute...

So they decided to fix singleplayer issues first.

I'd guess they want to fix everything all at once, but that's about the most feeble excuse I've heard for something like that.  It's also the only one I could come up with...

While releasing a bunch of new content for multiplayer.  Again, does not compute.

Seriously, If the Asari Justicar has Reave and it loops constantly like the Drell I'm going to be furious.

does not compute, as most of the multiplayer issues can be felt in single player.

I've also never seen any game company operate like that.  You make fixes, you patch.  You make fixes, you patch.  You don't try to fix every single bug before patching.  That's really not even possible.  And the whole "it's a long involved process to get patches approved" thing certainly doesn't fly seeing as they are realeasing a patch Tuesday and could have easily implemeted a fix for the Reave bug they have stated they already had a month ago.

Really, it just doesn't compute.  And I'm not even that upset about the Reave bug, so much as the complete joke of letting five weeks go by and doing nothing to fix the many MP bugs.  And to boot they are releasing more content before a single MP patch.  It's freaking bizarre.

You must have started playing video games yesterday if you've never seen this before.

Would be nice if they at least would fix the reave sound bug, that sounds like an easy enough thing to fix.

Unfortunately, because they have to (or choose to) deploy these patches on consoles at roughly the same time as the PC, they have to sit around and twiddle their thumbs after finishing a patch while Microsoft goes through it with a fine-toothed comb to make sure it meets their standards before allowing it to go live.

Unless things have changed since the last time I heard about patch deployment policies, which I'd love to be proven wrong on.

Do you guys know that it costs about $40,000 to put a patch out on each platform?

If they could get everything fixed in one patch, dont you think they would?

Yes.  That's why it's smart that BW can make changes server side like weapon/power tweeks.  But it also why you should take full advantage of the mandatory downloads like a DLC compatability patch to do as much as possible.  So I am disappointed that this patch doesn't have any MP fixes because it will be a long time until we see another patch.

I don't hear the Drell Reave noise on loop anymore. It stops once it goes off.

Content patch>Minor MP bugs

It has to pass through 200 levels of red tape to even get one 'fix'.

Only thing I really want addressed is the darned exploit. I guess it's working as intended and time to hop on board the cheat train?

That is because you havent played with drells who dont intentionally make it loop -.- you would not believe how easy it is to get on perma loop :S all you need is a group of 5 or more. spam reave on them till the pitch goes higher, keep spamming, then if the pitch decreases before they die... congrats. you now have a good chance of getting the most annoying sound in the game loop nonstop.

SP and MP are different teams. All this time MP team was working on DLC while SP DLC doesn't come out till summer so they've been working on a patch. At least, that's one way to look at it. They are separate teams after all.

They're releasing that DLC in 3 days, so they're probably going to put out bug fixes with it.

Dissapointing to hear about no fixes, still can't fully enjoy the mp really with the disconnection problem some have, including myself. I'm getting tired of trying to complete even just one match an hour if I'm lucky, I'll probably stop playing soon until its fixed.

Oh you mean when you tag like 10 guys with Reave and keep on doing it. Yeah but it doesn't exactly loop like it used to where I didn't even have to use Reave more than once for it to loop for the entire 30 mins on my speakers or my friend's speakers.

Now once it ends it ends from my experience at least. Unless you keep on casting it over and over again.

I wasn't aware of people that played 3 Drell adepts and spamming Reave lol, sounds like fun to me! :D
