I'd love to have these:

- Reaper noise
- Geth "Speaking" noise
- Vanguard's Shockwave sound
- Harbinger: "Assuming Direct Control"
- Weapon switch sound

- Mp3, Mp4 or iPhone ringtone format.

Thanks for Checking, Rob!

The music that plays on the galaxy map uncharted worlds would be a great ringtone. Notification sound could be the sound when you select a planet on the galaxy map.

I loved the sound effects on the Galaxy Map from Mass Effect 1. Everythng you did whether zooming in or out, the information on the planet coming up, they had really nice sound effects.

Rob or anyone at Bioware, has there been any word on something coming out? Thanks for your time as always.

A bump with no shame is a good bump.

I definitely am all for the idea. I have a Mass Effect Rainmeter desktop with the start button as the Alliance logo. All I need now are game sound effects to complete the full theme and make my computer into one you'd see in ME.

Personally, I'm looking for tech sounds. Sounds like the start button beep, the level up, omni-tool sounds, cloaking, etc. Sounds that would sound appropriate for a computer interface... Though having the Reaper horn for emptying the Recycle Bin would be sweet...

Tell you what... I'll have a word with some of our people, see if we can put something out for people that want to have cell phone rings, etc. Absolutely can't promise anything, but it's worth me asking.

Any idea what people would like to have? Specifically, what content, in what format and for what purpose.

Thanks

Yay! would like SMS alert tones from some of gunshot sounds, wrex/grunt-shepard dialog along

I want for my SMS tone a sound effect from ME1 but I can't really think of how to describe it...I have the Xbox 360 version and it would play when you were searching a base and a notice would pop up for something you may have found/noticed. It's like a techno-y sound with a beat and it lasted like 3 seconds. So hard to describe!

I'll second... pretty much all of this! I love the idea of this thread, and am quite amused to see someone from BioWare commented on it (even if it was a couple months ago).

With that said... Personally, I would love to get a copy of the sound that plays when you press start on the title screen to go to the main menu. Mainly because when I first heard it in ME3, I was immediately reminded of ME1, where they used either the same sound, or one very similar to it, for much the same purpose.

It might not sound like much (no pun intended), especially since it's only at most maybe two seconds...but you hear that sound every time you start the game, which, coupled with it being fairly distinctive, makes it memorable. Plus, since it's so short, there's any number of things it could be used for! (I'm thinking I'd use it to replace the e-mail notification sound on my phone. XD )

I'm with Dan Dark - that pinging noise in ME3 before you hit any key to get to the main menu is one of my favourite noises. I'd love to use that as a text-message notification.

I use Harby's "Assuming direct control of this form!" for my ringer and Joker saying "Message comin in. . . patchin it through." for my texts.

It will either scare the living daylights out of everybody that hears it, or they'll give you WEIRD looks.

Or high five because they are ME fans... but the weird looks alone would be worth it.

I know I got a Banshee scream for sms alerts somewhere, it's really awesome!
But I'm sure people would like other sound clips as well, not to mention background images, N7/Cerberus/etc. style icons and frames and such. I figure that even N7 decals to stick on the back of our phones would be appreciated (though I have my own cellphone in a leather cover, so that wouldn't work for me, the decal would peel from the leather in a matter of hours).

Another thing that would be appreciated by the Droidies: bring the ME3 Datapad to android! Build the mobile theme changer for sound effects, backgrounds, etc. into it as an additional tool, and update the IPhone version to include that theme-changer as well.

Yes, definitely. I paid for the soundtracks to all 3 games, I'd pay for a sounds/ringtones app in a heartbeat.

Wow this is actually a really cool idea.

I downloaded a while ago a android app with of mass effect sounds, and placed Kelly Chambers "Commander you´ve a new message at your private terminal" as sms/mail sound LOL

It also has some reaper sounds and some other in game lines but it would be awesome to have another app with much more content and sound quality :)

Hope this comes out :)
