Online Multiplayer Issues (As advised by EA Live Chat officer Ashish)

Hello,

         Recently I have been having some issues with online aspects of ME3. Since playing on-line, the store has failed on me a few times, most spectacularly today twice when trying to purchase Spectre Veteran packs. The issue has occurred a number of times, and I would estimate that I am out between 200, 000 and 300, 000 credits as a result.

        The other issue is characters I previously spent a Reset Powers card on before Promoting that class not having their abilities reset properly; instead, they all have a negative skill point total, all abilities filled in, and cannot use any abilities in-game. From memory, this has effected at least one character per class, sometimes multiple as is the case with my Vanguards.

        Finding this somewhat frustrating, I attempted to follow the in-game instructions and contacted Bioware Game Support for assistance; the link here takes you to EA tech support where unfortunately, all the service advisor was able to do was pass the information on and suggested I post here, and/or try restarting, disable my anti-virus software and firewall. The report number for the case is 03629899.

This post means nothing unless you spent actual money for Bioware points instead of crying for lost time... just play 50 more golds and youll be fine...

The problem has recurred twice since posting.

Approx 1pm Australian Eastern Standard Time yesterday. 60, 000 credits on a Spectre Pack.

And again; 7:50 am AEST, on another Spectre pack today..

I had the same issue.. error buying premium spectre pack.. lost my credits.. didn't get the pack..

The problem has now ocurred with at least 8 Veteran Packs I have attempted to purchase over the past two days.

This is an incredibly common issue that has been happening since day one for PC users (and I have yet to see a post by a bioware/EA employee ANYWHERE on these forums other than the premade stickies that were made before launch).

You are most likely getting the items, however they are not showing until you restart the game. The problem with this is that only the Equipment has the "New" label on it. If you get an upgraded weapon or mod or character class, you will not be able to see it unless you keep an inventory of what the ranks of all your items and characters are. The easiest way is to keep track of the medigels/rockets/ammo/shields and see if that number goes up, if it does than you did in fact get the items (you wont see the numbers increase until you restart the game completely), but good luck finding what actually got upgraded or what class you now have access to.

Also, as stated above, bioware/EA don't care in the slightest for these inconveniences (even when points are in fact totally lost). There is a large thread about people losing bioware points (aka real money) and I don't think most of them have had the issue resolved, but I haven't looked through all those posts.

The best solution I have found given by another user in a different post is to exit the game completely with your points before you buy anything, wait a while, then log back in and DO NOT play any matches until you have spent all your points. That seems to work for me the past few times. However I have pretty much stopped playing multiplayer because of how incredibly pathetic the servers and customer support are, so I haven't been able to verify this method of buying items with many packs.
