So I was playing multiplayer the other night. After the game was over, my console locked up on the load screen that shows up before the post-game score report thing. I restarted the console only to find out that I can no longer get into the multiplayer at all. The game locks up on the load screen that shows after I select "Multiplayer" from the main menu. 

At this point, I decided to go play some single player. I had just started my second playthrough, so I was still on disc 1 content. After an hour or so, I got to the Grissom Academy mission. The game asks for disc 2, so I insert the disc... and the game then locks up on the load screen.

At this point, I realize that the issue is probably the disc, so I reinsert disc 1 and boot up multiplayer and confirmed that it works (single player also still works from disc1). I still cannot get ANY game content (other than the main menus) to work from disc 2. I have started yet another game to confirm that it wasn't a corrupted save file, and it worked fine up until disc two content.

I have seen the threads about issues with the game locking up before the main menu, as well as lock ups during the Grissom Academy missions (for the Italian version of the game), but my issue seems to be slightly different than those. I suppose it should also be known that the disc was working perfectly fine before, as I played through the entire game once, and was playing multiplayer from the second disc at the time the error occured. I have tried installing the game to the HDD, but the xbox says that the disc cannot be read at about 47%.

If anyone had any information or fixes for me, PLEASE let me know. Thanks.

Just an update on my issues. I can now no longer play multiplayer on disc 1. The game consistently locks up at the beginning of wave 6. This game is no longer playable. I am seriously bummed at this because I was having a ton of fun with both the singleplayer and the multiplayer.

try and check to see if you have any corrupted Avatar items, also if you downloaded the From Ashes DLC delete it and then redownload it again. I had the same problem except with Disc 1 now I can play the disc and it works just fine.

I had already tried re downloading the dlc, but I went ahead and did it again, as well as deleted two corrupt avatar items. Game still doesn't work from disc 2. Thanks for the suggestions though.
