I wouldn't be entirely against an easier(or a harder) mode, but I don't think they should really design a solo play mode for a multiplayer part of the game.

I think it's generally intended that people who want to play solo play the singleplayer part of the game, which you can put on any difficulty you want to.

Ok so you are ok with ragging on someone who wants an easy level , when it would not effect you at all. just don't play it. It's the same for gold. if gold is not hard enough for you....find another game to play. There are many types of gamers. you guys want your platinum mode, but you would deny someone a casual mode?

Isn't that what singleplayer is for? You don't have to wait for items to drop either.

If you don't feel like playing with others, then there is a singleplayer portion of the game that you can always play.

People are too interested in bragging. I see nothing wrong in having a mode that is more accessible to a less hardcore group. People seem more interested in forcing others to do things their way.

Stating facts is not the same thing as trolling.

The singleplayer campaign is for a...SINGE PLAYER.

The multiplayer portion of the game is for...MULTIPLE PLAYERS.

If they were to introduce new modes to multiplayer, they would be team oriented, I can guarantee you that.

We get it, plenty of people can breeze through bronze with their eyes closed. I too find bronze relatively easy. But the fact of the matter is that not everyone's good at shooters, and compared to the two easier difficulties in single-player, bronze is *not* that easy. As others have said, it's more equivalent to "normal" difficulty.

Asking for an easier difficulty is no worse than asking for a harder difficulty, which plenty of people do every day and most are all for.

I agree with this here.  They should add something beyond Gold for the truly mentally unstable, and for those who want nothing but practice at the game, Glass difficulty.  Everything is really simple, and they don't do much damage.  Something to just screw around with, or get familiar with the maps.  Or, do solo play.  No credits for the super-easy mode, and a cap of 50,000 exp. per match sounds fair, right?

And then Platinum mode, the ridiculously-insane difficulty, all enemies have double the health of Gold, same stats otherwise, and deal 1.5X damage of Gold.  And maybe triple the enemies, a 5-minute extraction wave, no Missile Launchers allowed for the whole thing, and no ammo mods or amps either.

If we don't speak up against your idea, they may implement it.  If they do implement your idea, then they're taking time and money to make it and that time and money is not going into making things we'd enjoy.  

If they make your mode, then they would have less time to make new maps, new scenarios and new features that the rest of us want.  

Nobody is trolling.  You're just being overly sensitive because people honestly don't like your idea.  Beyond that, its just a bad idea and one that BioWare has stated in the past that they probably have no intention of doing.  People asked if there would ever be a single player version of the multiplayer and they said "NO!" multiple times in different interviews.

I understand the OP's plight. Sometimes, I just want to go afk and get a drink, catch a show, and when I come back see all these geth/cerebus/reapers just whacking away at me while my shield holds the line. I of course would then give a hearty laugh as I open full auto with my AR and mow them all down quickly, collect my exp and credits.

Really Bioware, is this to much to ask???

Bronze proves challenging for me too, but I doubt BW will release an easier mode for us.

However, people have a point... Multiplayer Co-op is for playing with other people...

Why would you want to do it alone?

When you first start MP it's pretty tuff with the crappy weapons you start off with. Just hang in there and get more packs. Practice bronze and watch what other people do.

Well if you look at the mode name, 'multi'player. Multi means multiple, which means more than one.

You aren't really asking for it to be easier, but rather to have multiplayer have a non multiplayer mode. Co-op doesn't matter since anything with multiple players is mutliplayer(hence the name =P)

Playing solo wasn't the intended design of this game's multiplayer. It is the intended design of this game's singleplayer.

Why on earth are you asking for a single player mode to a multiplayer mode? It's Co-Op, it is meant to be played with other people.. that's the very definition of multi-player. Bronze, Silver and Gold can all be solo'd - but they aren't meant to be, people just do it for the challenge.
