I don't think I can pick a favorite videogame character ever. The 5 who share the title for me are Shepard, Garrus, Master Chief, John Marston, Ezio

I'd say this is a fair assessment.

I mean, you know a character is good when reading other people writing him, they totally nail the Garrus attitude. Like in the last Marauder Shields comic. Garrus just . . . is.

I'd say if anything, Garrus Deserves his own spinoff game/movie/sitcom.

I am a guy and I am deeply impressed how Garrus was with lady Shepard.
I was very disappointed he outshined my male Shepard LOL XD

I have to agree. Garrus is just so totally awesome, and the voice acting is just fantastic. I was ok with Garrus in ME1, but in ME2 he was totally awesome and in ME3 he just got better.

Hey, another reason we should play more ME2. Have both Mordin and Garrus as Squadmates.

The two coolsest characters of the series (I like Javik too, but he has nothing on Garrus and Mordin).

Well my answer probably won't be very relevant, I'm obviously biased but... I think it's because he's very loyal to Shep, he evolves a lot during the trilogy, he has a strange and endearing mix of badassery and adorkableness, he's funny, dedicated, efficient in combat, etc. Plus there's the "exotic" charm of being an alien which often makes characters popular.

But I think I understand what you mean, even myself as a fan I can't put my finger on why I love him so damn much. There are lots of reasons.
