Mordin, Mordin and more Mordin,

Garrus would be a close second though - Great writing, great voice acting and an overall awesome character. Every time I select him for a mission I go into a "terminator" mode, get goosebumps and then I die before I realize I can't run and gun on insanity...

pfft l2p man. >:P

I like Wrex and Tali more than Garrus. Wrex is the #1 Brogan.

A person who is tired of Wrex, is tired of life.

He's certainly up there, most of the characters from bw games are on that list for me.

Mass Effect 3 has its problems.

Garrus Vakarian is not one of them.

In fact, I would GLADLY pay for an entire game starring just Garrus being Garrus and doing Garrus things for 20+ hours.

"Hey Garrus, I-"

"Sorry, callibrations."

"Well, okay. Talk later then...?"

"Sure sure sure."

I don't think I've done a mission without Garrus unless I wasn't given the chance.

Well, aside from Garrus being my favorite.

Isn't anyone bothered by his lack of opinion? I mean, he'll always agree with whatever Shepard does. Ditch him in ME? In ME2 he's completely fine with it. Don't let him kill the guy in his loyalty mission? Fine. Tali commits suicide? Sadface but couldn't have done it the other way. Not recruit Kaidan in ME3? It would be nice to talk to him again but you had your reasons. etc etc. Is there any dialogue from Garrus where he actually disagrees with Shepard?

It really strikes me as odd as he seems to have less opinion than Fenris from DA2 who was an almost retarded brainwashed slave.

You can definitely disagree with him on the loyalty mission in ME2 and there are a few chances for you to disagree on tactics in ME3, I even recall early on he seems rather pissed off about Shepard taking Victus away from the fight. But he's also pragmatic and maybe that's part of being a turian and respecting one's superior officers, if he is fine with Shepard's choices there is no point in saying much to the contrary. Though I was sort of disappointed that choosing the Paragon or Renegade conversation options from previous games did not cause a difference in Garrus' outlook on situations, maybe there just wasn't time in ME3's story to shift the focus away from Shepard and the war.

There were so many great characters, it's hard to decide which one I liked best! Garrus was great, but so were Wrex, Legion, Mordin, Liara, Thane, Miranda, Anderson, Kirahee, etc.

I'm really disappointed they cut Sidonis out.

Did you know he was originally supposed to save Garrus' family on Palaven as repayment?

Well, yes, which adds to his appeal really. He's always been a bit of an exception.

Garrus has been with me in practically every mission. And though Wrex, Mordin, Grunt, Tali and Liara are all great characters that I warmed up to despite them being 'mere pixels', Garrus is my friend. Garrus is the one I'll be having drinks with in heaven's bar.

Damn straight.

I cannot think of Garrus without thinking of Joker's take on him in ME2.

"He's finally gotten that stick out of his ass, but now he's beating people to death with it."

And I hope Planet Gilligan isn't dextro based. The bar is getting awful lonely.

You know, my first time through ME1 I hardly even used him. I did not think he was very well developed. He grew on me quite a bit in ME2, as he was one of my only returning squadmates, and I ended up using him pretty much every mission. His lines were just awesome in ME3 and he is definitely now in my top 5 of all video game characters.

This is basically what happened with me. I barely, if ever, used him in one then when two came around I was just so happy to see a character I recognized that I was joyous to see Garrus. Playing with him on squad in two made me realize that I missed a great character in one.

Same here, I didn't think much of Garrus in ME1. Then ME2 rolled around and his character development was amazing. He's now my favorite, besting out Wrex from ME1.

I'm not afraid to admit, I taught myself to lucid dream so I hang out with Garrus and I was actually successful.

I'm not, I'm not posting under my real name. Garrus wasnt the main reason I taught this to myself, he was just a small factor. Main reason was so I would get more sleep.

I think this was by design.  He's the archetypal "wingman."  In ME1 you can shape him in Paragon or Renegade directions.  In many ways, he's Shepard's protege, the one who sticks with you even if you manage to ****** everyone else off.
